Randomly mixing different type of plants won't cut it as different zombies have different speed and abilities. The walkthrough section will guide as new types shows up.

In Order to plant anything, a number of Suns is required. With each set of time, a sun will drop from the top of the screen and will seat on the map for a small amount of time before disappearing. Quickly, pick it up as soon as it drops to get a sun percentage (Normally %25). Keep collecting until you reach the required plant’s percentage. It is only after that, that you will be able to plant it. Use the shovel to remove any empting its space for another use.

The plants of course, can only be planted on the assigned spaces one at a time. There are five different columns each with its own line of spaces with a Grass Cutting Machine at the start. Should a zombie manages to reach the house infiltrating your line of defence, the lawn mower (Grass Cutter) will automatically activate and destroy the line’s zombies on screen. Certain green glowing enemies will drop Plant Food when killed. This stuff is a real life-saver. It can boost a single plant and save the round if you use it right.

Sunflowers will drop a massive amount of sun - 150, by my estimate.

Pea Shooters and Repeaters will fire a massive blast of peas in their row. This can be good versus a pack of zombies, or a couple of Cone Head/Bucket Head zombies. If you've got an underdefended row and can't build more plants due to lack of sun, this can be a good option.

Cabbage-Pults will let loose a volley of giant cabbages that hit all the zombies on the screen. This is good for times when you're low on plants on a row, since the Cabbage-Pult will hit things it normally can't shoot at.

Bloomerangs fire a massive amount of boomerang shots in all four directions. In the early going, in many circumstances you won't have zombies below, above, or behind your plants. Still, it's good to know for later when zombies start getting crafty.

Iceberg Lettuce explodes when fed plant food. It will freeze all the enemies on the screen for a short time.

Wall-Nuts will get a hard, steel coating that takes a long time for the zombies to break through. This is one of the only uses for plant food that doesn't run out over time.

It's a good idea to save at least one plant food for emergencies - sometimes you just start to get overwhelmed and need a quick boost. If you're maxed out, though, I suggest just using some. That way, if more drops, you can just pick it up and not have to worry about using up some of your existing plant food first.

very fun mobile game. I do pay the 3.50 a month to play ad free though. It's not subscription so you can just pay if you are playing and the ads are annoying and you don't have to remember to cancel if you lose interest.

this game is best I love it the downside is that not ads but that you used to be able to go to any part and get any plant to get ready for the harder rounds but unfortunately they took it away! I love it and the red one that one in aztec i love it but need to beat 3 others simply to try.

five stars!! I've always loved the classic pvz but this is even better! I've been stuck at a level at modern day and uninstailed but I installed a few days ago and got to the next world i love this game so much great game great mechinics great plants and great strategy making game.

Literally one of my favourite games because of it's nice gameplay and graphics. it have tons of plants and also abt a few bugs so yeah this game is a banger. recommended to play.

honestly, it's an amazing game. I think it will be better if the Devs add a reworked Snapdragon plant food animation where he shoots 9 blue fireballs so it's a great game! disclaimer .............add an acorn plant to the game!(plant food turns it into an oak!)
