Jacksmith

Jacksmith is an action-adventure game where players take on the role of Jack, a blacksmith. You manage your forge and craft weapons for other soldiers. Use these weapons to fight. Battles reward you with 50 gems, which you can use to purchase more weapon parts and ores to build more powerful weapons. Defeating enemies also grants significant experience points. Repairing other soldiers' weapons also earns experience points and helps you level up. The game features 150 unique enemies with distinct attributes. It's free to play and has simple controls.

Gameplay

You play as Jacksmith as he manages his forge and crafts weapons for the soldiers he recruited to help him save Princess Liliana. Each level constitutes one day of work and takes course over two parts. The day begins with Scout running ahead and then returning to the forge to tell Jacksmith which enemies he saw on the path ahead. This then initiates the crafting part of the day, where you have to craft weapons for the soldiers. One by one, soldiers will approach the forge and tell you which type of weapon they need. You must then craft the weapon of choice by picking a design to use, depositing ores to create the weapon, assembling the weapon, and then equipping parts to the weapon. From Day 3 onward, you can use the gems you earn from battle to buy weapon parts and ores from Gander the goose merchant to help with the weapon assembly. n weapon.

Once every soldier has been given a weapon, you receive a bonus amount of gems depending on how long you took, and then the second part of the level - the battle phase - begins. In this phase, your soldiers will charge across the path and automatically attack enemies in real time. You can also use the forge's cannon to fire different types of bombs that can help you gain the upper hand; each type of bomb is unlocked at a certain rank. If your soldiers are able to defeat all the enemies, they will keep going forward and uncover a treasure chest full of gems, ores, weapon parts, and sometimes an Epic Weapon design (Epic Weapons are extra-powerful weapons that require specific parts to assemble and provide a big buff to all your soldiers). After that, you receive a large amount of XP, which also advances you a fair bit across the world map as XP is tied to map progression. If a soldier takes too much damage, his weapon will break and he'll be forced to retreat. If all your soldiers have their weapons broken, the level ends but you still get some XP.

Can you play Jacksmith without Flash?

Starting in April of 2023, players have been able to play Jacksmith with no need for Adobe Flash Player. It took some work, but we finally got around to converting Jacksmith so everyone can experience the blacksmithing magic again. The gameplay is the exact same as it was before Flash was taken down, so hop in and enjoy the nostalgic wonder.

Is Jacksmith difficult to play?

At first, Jacksmith is a pretty straightforward game. There aren’t many kinds of handles, metals, or molds that you must use to craft. However, as you progress through the game, there are more and more options, which results in increasingly complicated orders. This is when Jacksmith begins to become more difficult. Don’t worry though, the difficulty increases subtly over time, so you will never be thrown a challenge that you are not ready for.

One benefit of the increasingly difficult is that the game gets more fun along the way. More weapons and equipment means that you get to craft items that are more interesting and useful on the battlefield.  

When did Jacksmith come out?

Jacksmith came out in September 2012. It quickly became a hit due to its exciting gameplay and unique premise. Over a decade later, Jacksmith is still one of the most popular games here at Coolmath Games. It sits up on the throne as one of the classic Coolmath Games, along with other titles such as Run and Papa's Pizzeria.
