Fate/Grand Order is an adventure fighting game. Players become a Master based on the storyline and complete missions assigned by the game. Completing missions increases their level and unlocks more rewards. Battles are conducted using command cards. Players choose their class, role, and team. As the game progresses, players can unlock character illustrations and develop a few frequently used Servants using resources. Players can create their own guild or join other guilds, increasing the game's interactivity.

Open the game and follow the opening story to enter Chaldea as a Master. Continue through the available main quests to reach new chapters and battle stages.
Before entering a quest, choose a party of Servants. Check the enemy class when it is shown, then select team members whose classes and skills suit the encounter.
During battle, choose three Command Cards for the turn. Consider whether you need direct damage, gauge building, or support from Servant skills before confirming your cards.
Use Noble Phantasms when a Servant has enough charge and the timing fits the fight. Saving them for a strong enemy can be useful in longer quests.
After clearing quests, use earned materials to level up, ascend, or improve skills for Servants you plan to keep in your regular party. Then return to story chapters or available events.

Story chapters across time
Fate/Grand Order (English) places its main story at the center of play. Players travel to different eras, meet characters from Fate, myth, and history, and work to resolve each Singularity. The Grand Order and Lostbelt chapters expand this storyline over time, while character quests provide more context for individual Servants.
Command Card battles
You select Quick, Arts, and Buster Command Cards during each turn. Card choices affect how your team attacks and how it builds toward stronger actions. Servant skills can support the party, and Noble Phantasms let a Servant use a major attack when its gauge is ready.
Classes and party roles
Fate/Grand Order (English) uses a class system that affects battle matchups. Saber, Archer, Lancer, Rider, Caster, Assassin, Berserker, and Extra classes each have different advantages or roles in a team. Before a difficult quest, you can review the enemy classes and choose Servants that better fit the battle.
Servants and Craft Essences
You can recruit Heroic Spirits and Craft Essences through the in game summoning system. Servants become available for use in battle, while Craft Essences add effects that can support them. Since summon availability can change during pickup periods, players may want to consider which characters fit their existing teams before spending summon resources.
Servant strengthening
As you progress, you can level up Servants, ascend them, and improve their skills. Ascension can also reveal new character art. Focusing resources on a small group of regularly used Servants can help you prepare a dependable party for story quests and event battles.

Pros
Easy to play and understand as it follows the traditional turn-based role-playing game system.
Offers a wide range of characters, each with their own unique abilities and skill sets.
Includes an interactive story mode that lets you explore different scenarios while engaging in battles against powerful foes.
Players can join guilds or create their own for cooperative gameplay experiences with friends online.
The app is regularly updated with new content such as events, quests, limited-time items, etc., giving players plenty of exciting things to do within the game world on a regular basis.
Cons
Can be expensive to play, as many of the features require in-app purchases.
Difficult for beginners due to its complexity and lack of tutorials or guides.

The one gacha where you can actually say the meta doesn't matter (aside from a certain few support characters, but the game allows borrowing off friends and randoms, so there's an element of try before you buy and attempt the gacha). Great story that ties into multiple Type-Moon works, and once you progress decently far into the game and save up for said specific characters (who show up frequently despite being Limited), the game becomes quite free feeling and enjoyable.
Great game, great storyline, great character designs, decent and acceptable rewards. For those who love to complain that the game isn't rewarding enough, bad gacha rates or there are no "auto-battle" features... They totally missed the point of the game. No offense to those people, but as a person who played this game for almost 4 years and kept following Nasu's work, I love every aspect of it and all the future JP server updates to NA servers are anticipated! 10/10 forever in my heart.
characters. Sadly the games first 5 parts are nothing but filler due to the games previous thoughts of just being a cash grab. Now however its safely to say that FGO has changed and followed more of a Visual Novel story game, with Turn based combat. Another problem is the Gacha, but in a year you'll get more then enough to get favorite characters.

Fate/Grand Order is a JRPG with a turn-based combat system from the popular Fate franchise, started in 2004 with Fate/Stay Night. The game's story, which takes place over several years, begins in 2015, when members of the Chaldea Security Organization discover that humanity is projected to go extinct in just 12 months. A group of scientists manages to trace the cause of this catastrophe to an anomaly that emerged in Fuyuki City in 2004, so they decide to send a group of special agents to the past with the goal of saving humanity and fighting against this ill-fated destiny.
