Retro Garage is a fun and casual simulation game where players become car mechanics. Faced with a constant stream of retro cars from various brands, players need to find the damaged parts. Each car is composed of over 50 parts, requiring careful inspection. Players will also need to order new parts or repair them by hand to restore the car to its original condition, unlocking new entries in the collection and eventually selling it. Besides car repair, players can also drive their beloved cars in thrilling races. Compete against other players and challenge your limits.
The Modes of Play in Retro Garage offer diverse gameplay experiences that cater to different play styles.
Career Mode: Players progress through increasingly complex repair jobs, building a reputation as a top mechanic while earning in-game currency to upgrade tools and purchase rare parts.
Free Play Mode: In this mode, players can work on vehicles without time constraints, exploring all the intricacies of car restoration at their own pace.
Challenge Mode: This mode introduces time-based repair challenges, pushing players to complete complex tasks within tight deadlines to earn special rewards and unlock exclusive car models.
Each mode in Retro Garage provides a unique gameplay experience, ensuring that every session offers fresh challenges and rewarding outcomes for car enthusiasts and casual gamers alike.

Piece-by-piece diagnostics and repairs: Retro Garage guides you through detailed checks across body, chassis, and engine assemblies. Each car contains more than fifty parts, so you identify damaged components and decide whether to repair or replace them. This structure helps you move from small fixes to full restorations with a clear understanding of what each change affects. As parts go back together, you see the impact of accurate diagnostics on overall vehicle health.
Tuning, customization, and engine swaps: After repairs, you can fit sports and racing parts to reshape handling, braking, and stability. Suspension and body options let you aim for drag acceleration or balanced lap performance. Engine swaps add another path when you need more power or a different torque curve. With each tweak, testing helps confirm whether the setup matches your goals.
Sell restored cars or build a collection: You choose what happens after a successful rebuild. Selling earns profit that can fund the next project or parts order. Keeping a finished car adds it to a growing collection, which turns the garage into a curated showcase of your work. Over time, these decisions shape your progression and the variety of vehicles you maintain.
Drag runs and ring track laps: Racing opens up once a car is ready. Quarter mile drag events focus on launch, gearing, and straight-line speed, while ring tracks reward balanced setups and consistent lap times. You can chase records by adjusting tires, suspension, and power delivery. Each race tests how well your build choices translate to real performance.
Authentic retro lineup and expanding content: The game features serial models from Soviet and European factories, covering classics from the 1950s to the 1990s. Designs reflect period details for players who value realism and historical context. The motor pool continues to grow over time, and active communities share news, tips, and updates. This ongoing expansion keeps new projects and comparisons available.

just a great, fun game. scratches a certain itch that I can't describe. if there was one thing I'd want added, it's just buying a bare frame. the simplest way to go about it would just be allowing someone to build a car and its variants from scratch, but imagine just bolting on whatever you can make fit to create something abominable. on that same tangent, more customized parts, like extended front ends to fit bigger engines.
This game gets more and more awesome with each update. Very simple graphics but realistic at the same time, and incredibly fun to play (I admittedly caught myself playing for a couple hours at a time.) Just a suggestion: Saab 99 and Saab 900 (and the 900 turbo), and maybe some Italian cars added as well. Also it would be cool to customize interior color as well.
I love the game it's a great time passer because of the never ending things to do and various problems with each and every car I understand that it's based in like the 90s but I wish there was exactly the same game but for the current time and new engines and cars overall I can't get enough of the game but one for the present would be absolutely amazing but the game is still great.
Absolutely brilliant. Though I would like to be able to do more engine swaps, the workshop bit is near perfect, with only minor annoyances by parts blocking each other sometimes being arbitrary. Racing is good, and if you have the skills, you can keep the car controlled. Updates are frequent and include new cars and features.

CLOUD SAVE REQUIREMENTS?
Game downloaded and updated via Google Play;
Cloud saves activated in the game settings (indicated by a green cloud icon);
Stable internet connection (the "+1000" button must be visible in the workshop);
Google Play Games account properly configured (see configuration details below).
If all conditions are met, simply finish the in-game day by tapping the "Wait" button to sync your progress to the cloud.
HOW TO RESTORE PROGRESS?
To download your cloud data on a new device or after reinstalling the game:
Verify that all the requirements listed above are currently met;
Enable cloud saves in the game settings. You’ll see a confirmation message stating that your progress has been successfully restored.
If your progress does not restore, it was not saved correctly. When transferring progress between devices, ensure the first device meets all requirements and finish the in-game day there first. If you cannot do this, the data cannot be recovered.
HOW TO DELETE PROGRESS?
To restart the game with the option to restore your cloud save later, find in your device Settings > Apps > Retro Garage > Clear Data.
To permanently delete your progress, open the Google Play Games app settings, select "Delete Play Games account & data," then clear the app cache on your device.

In traditional games, players often face rigid constraints-following linear paths and completing fixed levels within a confined world. But open-world driving games break these boundaries, offering unparalleled freedom. The vast, dynamic map becomes your playground, where every journey is shaped by your choices. Feel like cruising along coastal highways at sunset? Or venturing off-road to discover hidden trails? The destination is yours to decide, and the adventure unfolds at your pace. This is the essence of true exploration, where the road ahead is limited only by your imagination.
Games have the unique ability to offer us both an escape from reality and a reflection of it. On one hand, they provide a refuge-a place where we can immerse ourselves in a virtual world, away from the pressures and challenges of our everyday lives. On the other hand, games can also bring us face-to-face with the complexities of real life, allowing us to experience its highs and lows, its moments of joy and sorrow, all within a controlled environment. This dual nature of gaming-offering both an escape and a confrontation with reality-is what makes it so deeply connected to the essence of the human experience. It allows us to explore, learn, and grow, while also providing a space for reflection and personal discovery.
The world offers infinite experiences, but no single person could possibly live them all. That’s where games come in-they unlock endless possibilities beyond reality’s limits. Ever dreamed of piloting a jet, running a business empire, becoming a viral streamer, or mixing chemicals in a lab? In gaming, nothing is out of reach. Simulation games, in particular, bring these fantasies to life, letting you step into any role imaginable. Whether conquering skies, managing cities, or crafting potions, games make the impossible possible. Simulation doesn’t just imitate life-it expands it!
