Grand Theft Auto III
Introduction

Grand Theft Auto III is a thirdperson actionadventure game. Players can experience the story mode, progressing the plot by completing various side and main missions and witnessing the protagonist's transformation and rise in status. They can also explore a vast open world, driving vehicles across the roads. Players can also create chaos in the game to continuously increase their damage rating, attracting increasingly intense pursuit from the police—see how long they can last! The game also boasts a rich selection of firearms, from basic melee weapons like knives, guns, and clubs to midtolongrange firearms and explosives. You can even shoot while driving, adding to the game's fun.

Weapons of Grand Theft Auto III:

Baseball Bat Deals a decent amount of damage and knocks people down. Hit them a couple of times while they're down to ensure they stay there.Found at every Hideout.

Pistol: A basic pistol. Excellent for circlestrafing. Many shots will miss, but almost all of theirs will too.

Uzi: Just like the pistol, allows runandgun but has horrendous accuracy for distance shooting.Hideout after collecting 20 Hidden Packages.

Grenades: Excellent damage—if your throw is good enough. Watch where each lob goes, if you accidentally let one drop at your feet you're probably a goner. Once you have the respawning pickups from the packages you won't need to worry about wasting them if you miss.

Shotgun: Extremely powerful, can take down almost any foe in a single hit. Beware when using on vehicles though, as two blasts of this in succession will make a car explode instantly rather than catch on fire first. Only the Rocket Launcher surpasses its antivehicle power. Unfortunately you can't run with the shotgun, leaving you quite vulnerable to enemies both when escaping and reloading.

Molotovs: Excellent for roasting peds and Rhino tanks but virtually useless against other vehicles. Again, be careful when throwing these as their flames spread quickly over a wide radius.

AK47: Similar to the uzi, except that it has longer range and is more accurate. You cannot run while firing this weapon.

Useful Tips of Grand Theft Auto III:

Enter Cop Cars For A Shotgun: You can buy guns from the AmmuNation, but that is not the only place where you can find guns. In the beginning of the game when you are particularly strapped for resources, enter a cop car to receive a shotgun free of charge. It's not much, but in the starting hours of the game, it can definitely come in handy for some of the early missions. Additionally, cop cars are some of best vehicles you can commonly find.

Stamina Increases Over Time: At first, you are barely able to run a few feet before Claude has to take a break. However, the stamina stat is hidden and increases the more you run around on foot. You can also extend the sprinting time by tapping the button instead of just holding it.This problem becomes a nonissue if you do the paramedic missions first, however. Having a wealth of stamina or an unlimited amount is tantamount to success in some of the harder missions.

Causing Mayhem Gives You Money: Grand Theft Auto III still retains a lot of arcade sensibilities, a far cry from the realistic approach future entries would embrace. There is no better indication of this than the fact that simply causing mayhem gives you money. Go all out and blow up cars, raise your wanted level, and steal cash from everyone possible. It doesn't take long to earn enough scratch to buy your own arsenal at the AmmuNation.

Get Into New Cars Often: In Grand Theft Auto III you are unable to jump out of moving cars. This becomes a big problem when you cannot leave a burning vehicle just because it has not come to a full stop. With this in mind, don't be afraid to leave a bangedup vehicle in search of a new one; it just might save your life. Fortunately, later GTA games added the ability to jump out of moving cars, preventing this hassle.

Find All The Hidden Packages: There are numerous collectibles to find throughout Liberty City. Hidden Packages earn you a bonus for every ten that you find. The first ten earn you a pistol that spawns at every hideout. The weapons get more impressive with each upgrade.By the time you have collected around 50, you already have a formidable arsenal waiting for you for free. By 100, it is simply an absurd amount of firepower. There are 33 in Portland alone, so find these before continuing the story to already start out with some free guns.

Player Comments of Grand Theft Auto III:

Just finished 100% completing this game on PC and honestly, I'm glad I ignored all the negative reviews and bought it anyway.I'm not sure what game some of these reviewers were playing, because my experience was completely different. I didn't run into a single bug during my entire playthrough. Performance was smooth from start to finish on my pretty average gaming PC.The AI behaved normally, combat felt fair, and at no point did my car get randomly oneshotted. Everything worked exactly as I'd expect it to.Could the game be perfect? No. But based on my experience, a lot of the complaints seem wildly exaggerated. I had a great time, completed everything the game had to offer, and never encountered any of the major issues people keep talking about.

Get into a Manana, park in the high rise near your first hideout, and listen to KJAH while it's raining. It's the most comfy experience. Plus you might see people just beat each other to death, then an ambulance comes up, pancakes another random person, and revives the first person who got beaten to death. I think this series was at its best when it was small, simple, enclosed, and goofy like this, where every corner was some identifiable landmark.

Though Vice City is my favorite of the three, I still have a lot of love for all classic GTA games. Finally stepping into the realm of 3D this one done changed the game. Following a story of betrayal over and over again, this poor guy just can't catch a break. Thankfully he's a bad ass and powers through his way to the top of Liberty City. Much like the VC definitive version this looks great without having to mod anything. Well done!

After all the updates and hotfixes, the game runs perfectly smooth 0 crashes, and 0 errors while playing. One thing that kinda annoys me is when the game updates, it causes some mods to stop working. I recommend the GTA V driving mod and the Hostile Gang NPCS dont always attack on site (for racing missions). Other than that a great game to pick up on a deal and good for getting achievements, since they're not too tedious to get.

Final Verdict:

Join the game as you participate in the future story solved with a myriad of fascinating and interesting things. The player will begin to play and will experience every challenge, and the process of conquest exploration opens up. You will feel very attractive and impressed with these details. Besides, the details are graphically very realistic, which will fascinate the player.
