Naturally, the apocalypse is fraught with danger; you must quickly execute Quick Time Events to defeat monsters—and even other humans—to ensure your survival. Players can save their progress at key decision points and return to them later to make different choices, thereby enhancing the game's replayability.

Gameplay of The Walking Dead:

The gamplay in The Walking Dead is similar to what players will find in any point and click adventure series. While the consoles versions do allow for players to walk characters around, the mobile versions are almost entirely pointing at a destination and watching the players move to that point in the screen.

The game will also have some items that can be equipped and picked up using the point and click mechanic though the game does not have an inventory that can be explicitly accessed repeatedly and at any time. There are specific areas where items found earlier in the game will be used, instead of being able to use them at any time.

The game also has a player choice mechanic that is said to change how the story of the The Walking Dead will unfold. Some of these choices are merely decisions on what to say and how to respond to other characters while others have broader reach in that they will determine which characters live or die beyond a certain scene. The developers have said there have been some tweaks to the overall game play but have not said exactly what those tweaks will be.The known characters in The Walking Dead are Clementine, who has made an appearance in all three of the main The Walking Dead games. Alvin Jr. who was a baby in the previous game and a very young child in this one, Javier, Hector, Kate and Eleanor. The trailers have shown an additional girl, man and woman who have not been named previous to the game’s launch.

The Lore Needs to be Unlocked: Learn about the outbreak and the history of the new world. Find all the clues needed in the ruins of the world and the camps of the survivors to keep your group alive.

Settings of The Walking Dead:

The Walking Dead follows on the first game, and coincides with events of the comic books, in which a zombie apocalypse has occurred, turning humans that are bitten or die into zombies, or "walkers"; the only way to stop this conversion is to damage the brain. The game is primarily set four years after the apocalypse began, and roughly two years after The Walking Dead: Season Two.

A New Frontier features two playable protagonists: Javier "Javi" Garcia (Jeff Schine), a former professional baseball player living with his sister-in-law Kate (Shelley Shenoy) and nephew, Gabe (Raymond Ochoa) and niece, Mariana (Vale de la Maza); and Clementine (Melissa Hutchison), a young teenager trying to survive on her own while continuing to look after Alvin Jr., the baby from the last season. Possibly also returning are either Kenny (Gavin Hammon) or Jane (Christine Lakin), depending on the player's decisions from the previous season. During the season, Javi's group is joined by Paul "Jesus" Monroe (Brandon Keener), the ambassador of the Hilltop community appearing in the comic series, and several survivors from the idyllic town of Prescott, including their leader Tripp (Troy Hall), town doctor Eleanor (Kelly Crowder), and bartender Conrad (William Christopher Stephens). Later episodes introduce the New Frontier, a larger group of survivors who have "lost their way" due to past events. The group is led by four people: Joan (Jayne Taini), the head of diplomacy; Dr. Paul Lingard (Yuri Lowenthal), the head of medicine; Clinton "Clint" Barnes (Andrew Heyl), the head of rations and food; and Javi's older brother and Kate's ex-husband David (Alex Hernandez), the head of security. Other members include David's right-hand woman Ava (Ally Johnson), and scouts Badger (Jon Curry), Max (Sean Lynch), and Lonnie (Charles Halford).

oh how i love my little soap opera with my cute little people. so emotional and complicated - i love it. at the same time - it’s the biggest draw back. sometimes tooth-rotting bits weaved with heart-breaking ones might be just too… much. everything is all over the place. at the same time this chaos is really close to my heart; that’s why i love it so much. it is indeed kinda stupid, but it’s okay. for the characters - they are all different. they all have their redeeming qualities, but we can’t forget flaws. the best example is our clementine - she is brutal, ruthless and pragmatic; at the same time she is so maternal (as much as a 13 year old can be), capable and ready to defend those, who are close to her. AND at the same time, she is maturing, and it takes a big toll on one’s mind. especially when you were alone for such a long time.

other than that, i might be the biggest “women and children twdg defender”. for example, kate.i will always defend her with all my heart. she was abused by david, and people act like oppressed people can always stand up to their oppressors. she had every right to leave those kids, they weren’t even hers. she took care of them like they were her own. she felt free with javi, and how could they know that after four years they were going to meet david? oml.

now i want to talk about periods. I WAS SO HAPPY THAT IT WAS BROUGHT UP. i need more stuff like this mentioned in zombie media, it’s one of those themes that’s never approached. same goes with any kind of hygiene. but still, kate mentioning her bloody underwear and clem getting her period… UGHHH!!! and i like how we, as javi, can at least try to explain what’s happening to her.

the gameplay. the gameplay is my favorite part. when i first saw this type of mechanics in “michonne” i was pleasantly surprised. yes, please, show me those big e’s and q’s. i need them. so cute!! same goes for them big arrows. i do need them, thank you. and same goes for clementine’s flashbacks - yes, show me that gray screen. let me see what happened. but… but the ui… for a second i thought i accidentally opened roblox :,) it’s so roblox-y lmao.

this time we focus not on the breakdown of society, but how dangerous those macro-level tribalism, on how corrupt leadership can be and how it can cost others their life. we need to tackle those type of scenarios. if we want to save lives of our people, can we destroy other lives, just because? when are we overstepping, going too far? how far are we possible to go? is it worth it to loose individuals for the greater good? in conclusion, i love this game. again, for me it is easily a 10/10 game.

The Walking Dead is one of the games that allows players to experience the zombie war of one of the most attractive franchises. It is a TV series that has been produced and has millions of views. Until now, these games have been released continuously. And certainly, this content has never appeared on film. In general, the story still takes place in the post-apocalyptic period, where humans have lost the halo of modern civilization.
