Gameplay

Your goal is to block the enemy's path by placing a series of defensive towers. Your objective is to prevent them from reaching your base and destroying your kingdom.

To stop orcs and goblin armies from invading your kingdom along the roads, you can build a variety of defensive structures. I've already completed two campaigns on easy mode. It's completely free to play. I didn't even use crystals, which are easily obtained in the game. The first campaign gradually guides you through the various defense towers, helping you familiarize yourself with the game mechanics. The second campaign focuses on new enemies. This is definitely my favorite tower defense game. I bought some heroes, and they work well and are balanced with the four heroes that come with the game. There should be more detailed information before purchasing.

I love this game! First of all, it's not the kind of game where you can win by spending money. While you can buy things with real money, it's not essential. Gems, used for purchasing items, are easily obtained through gameplay, and in large quantities. The gameplay is simple yet incredibly fun and challenging. There's also a skill tree to upgrade your towers and other items. In short, this game is genuinely fun, with nothing annoying.

I played this game about 12 years ago, and it's still great. It's a perfect free-to-play game: well-made, almost comparable to paid games, and the experience is uncompromising. They've used this game to launch several sequels, and their profits mainly come from it. So if you want to continue playing after finishing this game, they certainly have more sequels to buy. I hope more developers will follow this model instead of cramming games with ads, making them pay-to-win, or creating poor-quality games riddled with ads to generate revenue.
