Garage Expansion

The Garage has an available expansion that can be purchased for $50,000 by using the blueprint on the wall of the garage. The expansion adds a second garage door, a light switch, as well as a service pit that can be opened and closed using the switch on the wall.

When purchasing the expansion, the area should be cleared out of any cars or items to prevent collision issues. In addition, the small shelf on the wall near the garage door will disappear, dropping any items to the floor.

Sleep

The garage is the only place besides the player's house where a couch spawns that the Player can use to recover energy by sleeping. The couch can be moved using the Move Tool, as long as the Player has access to the garage. Note that the couch is not entirely necessary if not played in Hard Mode other than advancing time.

Hard Mode

When starting the game in Hard Mode the Player spawns at the home instead of the garage. The garage needs to first be purchased by the Player for $50,000 before access is given to the garage and the barn.
