Gods of Olympus is a war strategy game set in ancient Greece. Players can build their own cities, consume resources to upgrade various buildings, and experience exhilarating battles. They can unleash the power of the Greek gods to destroy enemy defenses and plunder resources for their cities. Each god in the game has unique skills; you need to decide which god's abilities to upgrade based on your combat system and deploy the corresponding armies to coordinate with them, making it easier to break through enemy lines. Players can also join or create alliances at any time, communicate through channels, share skills, and participate in more alliance gameplay to earn more rewards.
Zeus and Company Stay Under Your Control: Combat happens in real time, with players directing Zeus, Athena, Ares, Aphrodite, Apollo, Artemis, and Hades against cities filled with troops, towers, and other defenses. Each god has several distinct powers, giving attacks more tactical substance than a simple numbers check. User feedback also points to accessible controls and the useful ability to direct attacks toward chosen targets. The roster is more than decorative mythology. Choosing when and where to use divine powers is the heart of each assault, while the single-player campaign frames those battles around the fate of ancient Greece. This active approach best suits players who enjoy base-building strategy but find automated combat too detached. It can accommodate brief sessions, yet the combination of attacks, upgrades, and defensive planning also supports longer stretches of play.
Instant Construction Encourages Experimentation: Buildings and upgrades finish immediately. Better still, structures can be bought and sold without waiting, so redesigning a city does not require days of timer management. That freedom encourages experimentation with defensive towers, armies, and layouts. A failed defense can become useful information rather than a reason to wait before making changes. The reward structure recognizes both successful attacks and effective defenses, which gives the city-building side a clear purpose. Players can also expand their territory and spar against their own city or those belonging to alliance members. The result is a healthier connection between offense and defense than base builders that treat construction as little more than a progress gate.
Live Alliances Come With an Online Requirement: Alliance cooperation is genuinely immediate: allies can enter an attack together or help defend a city while the battle is happening. That makes membership more meaningful than exchanging resources or sending passive reinforcements. It also raises the stakes when another player comes under attack. The trade-off is that an internet connection is always required, including for players primarily interested in the campaign. In-app purchases are present as well. The absence of build timers makes the underlying pace more appealing, but it should not be mistaken for an entirely purchase-free design.

Battle for the fate of Ancient Greece in an epic single-player campaign based on Greek mythology.

Don’t Be Shy To Use Your Gods’ Abilities: The game will start you out with the father of all the Greek gods, Zeus himself, and his first ability is Chain Lightning. This skill does a great deal of damage to any buildings or units that surround Zeus, before moving on to other targets. There isn’t much of a cool down time to deal with, so you can use Chain Lightning as often as you please as it easily does damage against buildings and smaller enemy groups.Once you’re able to control other gods and goddesses, feel free to do the same – keep using their abilities whenever necessary, and as often as possible. Make sure to check the top left of the selection images for cool down time information, so you know how often you can “spam” these abilities.
Power Up Your Gods At The Pantheon: Aside from frequently using your gods’ skills, you can also have them return to the Pantheon to power them up. Of course, you’ll have to spend some gold while there, but you can use that gold to upgrade skills, strength, or health. Make good use of the gold you earn and make frequent trips back to the Pantheon – there isn’t any other thing you can spend your gold on anyway.
Choose Athena As The Next God / Goddess After Zeus: Gods of Olympus, as we told you above, is very generous as it gives you Zeus as your first god. So why not choose the most powerful goddess as your second deity in this game? You’ll have five choices once starting, and it makes lots of sense to go with Athena. Her skills make her sort of like a tank in this game, as she has a lot of health points. She also has a second ability called Aegis that reduces incoming damage (on your side) by as much as 70 percent. No, she isn’t as powerful on offense as Zeus is, but if you’re looking for a tank character, you might as well go with Athena.
Upgrade Towers Before Temples: As you might have inferred, Gods of Olympus has a lot of tower defense elements, which makes it imperative for you to upgrade defensive towers. Although upgrading the different temples will give your gods those all-important passive bonuses (and would do the same for your troops), but those bonuses would be largely negligible unless you’ve upgraded them greatly. But upgrading your arrow towers and other defensive buildings would be better for starters, as that increases their attack rating and allows them to produce more troops for you. Yes, passive stat bonuses are great, but you cannot neglect the towers in a game with tower defense elements.

Game is perfect, no ads.. purchase if u want to lvl up fast, but don't force u to do... edit- lost my account..I had send many mail for help to developer and support..but no one bothered to respond.. Good game but very bad attitude of the developers.. don't waste money, you may not get it back.
One of the best casual, f2p strategy games. The options are endless like which gods to choose which powers to upgrade and how we want to strategise altogether, and boosting your favourite god, the people in the alliances are very nice and interactive. It's addictive and there's always a feeling that we need more and more of this game but we run out of resources quickly and the difficulty spikes up quickly. My advice is that you should spend gems on war loot (boost) that's like a million gold.
So addictive! An awesome game. You can be an f2p player and still go on without getting stuck. IDK about negative ratings, can't really find anything bad about this game. If you think it is too good to be true, and that it may at least has a lot of ads, you are mistaken, it is actually hard to find any. Sometimes in updates glitches happen but if you tell them, they fix it! I 100 percent recommend this game.
Overall, Gods of Olympus is a game full of strategy and adventure, players can play as the gods of Greek mythology, build their own city, recruit soldiers, and fight with other players and enemies. The game provides rich game elements and features, players can enjoy the real ancient Greek culture and mythical world experience. If you like strategy games and mythological themes, then this game is definitely worth a try.
