Mechanics:

Players steer their gladiator with an on-screen directional pad on the left, while jump, attack, and special skill buttons sit on the right side of the display.That layout is deliberately small. Fights ask for short bursts of input rather than long combo strings, so a two button rhythm handles most encounters.

Positioning carries the rest. Because the arena is a flat 2D lane, stepping back one pace often beats blocking, and jumping over a wide swing sets up a free counter. Energy limits how many attempts you get in a sitting, so wasted health costs real time.

Forward and back on the pad control spacing, and the jump button clears low sweeps. New players tend to hold forward and mash attack, which walks them straight into counters. Tapping forward twice, striking once, then retreating works far better against ranged enemies.

Jump attacks deserve special mention. Rising over an incoming strike and hitting on the way down beats several early bosses, since their recovery animations leave a gap. Practise that pattern in a cleared stage before trying it on a boss fight.

As Usual, Your Passive Skills Can Often Be More Important: It’s common for gamers to focus solely on the active skills, yet neglect the passive skills. This oftentimes bears repeating, but you should never fall into such a trap! In Tiny Gladiators: Tournament, you’ve got two active skills and two passive skills, and those latter skills tend to be more important than the active ones in both cases. Your first passive skill increases your max health by a given percentage. Make sure you’re upgrading this skill early on, because it could improve your chances of getting two or three stars in a level, instead of one. You’ll have more health for the enemy to chip away at, making it likelier you’ll end up with more than one if you upgrade this first passive skill early on.Health regeneration is the second passive skill, and it is, once again, a percentage-based way system that’s in play here. Investing points in this skill means you’ll regenerate health faster while in the middle of a battle. While you may not notice a difference once you spend a few points for the first time, the effect will be much greater once you move on to later fights and find yourself regenerating faster than you ever imagined.

Keep Upgrading Your Character: We shouldn’t even be mentioning this, but relying on max health increases and faster health regeneration is not going to cut it by itself. What you should do is to upgrade your character constantly, as you’ll still want to deal out a lot of damage when you’re up against computer or human-controlled opponents. Yes, it’s true that the above passive skills are very important, but they might not mean a thing if your character isn’t upgraded on a regular basis.

Stars Aren’t Important In Your First Try: Each of the battles in Tiny Gladiators: Tournament are graded by a star system – your health should be above a certain level/percentage at the end of a battle in order for you to get so many stars. But you shouldn’t trouble yourself over getting three-star levels right from the get-go, especially if you’re a beginner. The difficulty level of the gladiator fights increases progressively, and quite rapidly – that means you’re sure to squeak by with one-star levels early on in the game. You can always replay those battles once you’ve improved your character far enough, and not only will that get you the stars you had missed previously (assuming your health is high enough), this is also a great way for you to farm for coins.

I'm just in the beginning but so far it's pretty fun. The only thing I wish was different is the ability to change character class. I undownloaded this thing like three times define the best class. You should have the ability to start any class at any time. Also I wish I could control the control size and placement, other than that its pretty fun.

Fun game. Long questline with good boss fights. Interesting variety of classes and abilities. Well implemented upgrade paths. Loads ok but crashes when clan is pressed - force stop and restart usually fixes this issue but not all the time. Request to join clan not working. PvP bot battles are only useful for collecting gold and diamonds. No reward for reaching top 3 in Master league. Clan fights are good with real players not bots. Endgame is collecting and maxing out enchanted sets.

This game is super adicticting, i play this game like all the time, tho i think that u should add a boss raid in the clans so people can fight OP bosses and stuff like that. Overall tho its a great game! Like if you agree (also take away the buff for the boss on level 165, because it is way to strong).

Pretty good game despite the Greatsword class costing 1,900 gems,I was really looking forward to getting that, but a game is a game. Besides that, this game is fun and makes for the perfect time killer, If you want a game like this where it's a classic sword RPG game then I recommend downloading this. Like I said, try it. It's fun!
