I think that the story being told in Jessica O’Neil’s Hard News is very well done. It is quite smart and well written and it is about a mid-20s woman called Jessica who is an investigative journalist. She wants to be the best around and she is a hard worker. However, her stunning good looks can sometimes get her into some trouble if you know what I am saying. I think the story starts off fantastically well, but it does lose some steam towards the end.

Doing The Right Thing

This is as typical a visual novel as you can get! I do not mean that in a negative way, but Jessica O’Neil’s Hard News mainly has you reading a great deal of text. Every once and a while you will be presented with a choice. There are only ever two choices thrown your way, but this does keep things more focused and easier for the player to try and stay on a particular path. There are also choices that will pop up during the sex scenes as well which can be quite fun. I know that some may see this as being a bit streamlined and perhaps even linear, but I liked it, it kept things more focused.

The first thing that most people usually freak out about when they play Jessica O’Neil’s Hard News is the render of our lead character, Jessica. She is absolutely stunning and one of the best looking female protagonists I have ever seen in a lewd game. The rest of the character renders are done in a very high-quality style as well. There is also an excellent number of sex scenes in the game and you never have to wait too long to get to the next lewd scene which is something I appreciate. Oh, one other thing I have to give the game a ton of credit for is how they make Jessica look very sexy even when she is fully clothed!
