Double-H Games released a new game called RE: Hero Academia and the version is 2 – 0.3. The game’s story is about In the game, you play as a Pro Hero, a fresh graduate from U.A, who was killed in action but was saved by a mysterious Quirk and sent back in time. Given a second chance, it’s time to hone your power, get closer to allies in order to solve the mystery of your future and try to avoid your impending doom. You will be able to experience many lewd situations with your favorite characters along the way. Fair price for dying once, right?

If I Could Turn Back Time!

Am I really at a point where I am pulling out Cher references? Anyway, the story that RE: Hero Academia is telling is pretty damn awesome. We play as an academy student that is at the academy learning to be a hero with many of the characters that we know and love. The twist here is that we die. Yup, the main character in the game dies, but he is sent back in time to relive his life and try and stop the events that led to his death from happening. This is pretty damn awesome and I like how there is a clear end goal in sight for the story.

Staying True To Themselves

I have played many parody style lewd games over the years where the characters may have the look, but they do not act anything like the character they are based on. That is not the case with RE: Hero Academia. In this game, the characters do act similar to how they would in the show. Of course, things are exaggerated here as this is a XXX game after all. However, they are not so radically different that it will take it out of you if you are a huge fan.

Familiar, But Different

Much like the way the characters act, RE: Hero Academia also has characters that have the right look too. These characters look great and are a fun parody of the characters that many of us know and love. I think that they did a good job here in making them very familiar, but they are also a tad different too. The thing is they are not different because of a stylized change. They are different because some of them are just a tad off, this is especially evident if there is some animation happening, basic things like legs and arms can look really off and it can take you out of the moment.

All The Ingredients For A Good Meal

The story is good, the game looks decent enough and I am pleased to say that even in this unfinished state, RE: Hero Academia is showing a great deal of promise in terms of the gameplay. You have to click around the different areas to try and get to the right place at the right time. There is also a combat system in the game, a system where you can use each tool that you have once a day and there is also the visual novel aspect of the game too.

V2 – 0.2:

In this update, we continue with the story, you can see some new scenes for Momo, Mei, and a new OC, and if you wander around town, you can see some random people going at it as well 

 (There’re 4 or 5 of these).

The UI also got a new face lift.

Unfortunately, the old save can’t be used, but we’ll include in the download a save file that will bring you to the end of 0.1.

Sorry Android users . I’ll include a ‘chapter’ system from the next update in case this happens again.

V2 – 0.1:

A new iteration of the game. New story, new scenes, new protagonist.

Removing the more complicated part of the gameplay. We’re focus on the art and sound this time to avoid it becoming a mess.

We’ll add back some puzzle solving minigames in future update. This version is straight forward, mostly to showcase new asset.

Old versions (now dubbed V1, up to 0.29) will no longer get any update. I’ll keep the link up if you need it though.
