Dingtone

Dingtone is a telecommunications and social networking app for Android. It allows users to create a second phone number for backup purposes. Users can obtain temporary local numbers from a wide range of regions. This secondary number helps protect your privacy, as you don’t need to use your primary phone number. If you no longer need the backup number, you can cancel it instantly without any complicated procedures. Calling rates are very affordable, and the app features a virtual currency system—you can earn this currency by checking in daily or completing various tasks, and it can even be used to cover usage costs.

User Reviews

A thoughtful service for international communication—make calls from the comfort of your home! Dingtone doesn’t deduct from your mobile carrier’s calling plan; instead, it uses "Dingtone Credits." You can earn these credits through activities like daily check-ins. Even if you choose to purchase credits, they cost only 10%–20% of standard calling rates, helping you save over 80% on your monthly phone bill. The more you use Dingtone, the more you save! (Though, I’m currently having trouble purchasing credits—neither watching videos nor playing games seems to be working.)

This is the second VoIP app I’ve tried, and Dingtone is excellent—great sound quality and a stable connection. With the previous app I used, either the other person couldn't hear me, or I couldn't hear them, and there was always a crackling, static noise. Dingtone is absolutely fantastic—top-notch, no complaints!

I’ve been using it for over 3 years! It works perfectly, the call quality is clear, and you can earn usage credits just by watching a few ads. I honestly don’t understand why some people say it’s not good! Such a great app deserves full support—though the interface could use an update; it hasn’t changed in over 3 years!

Conclusion

Dingtone is a feature-rich instant messaging app that allows you to make calls, send text messages, and take advantage of a wide range of additional functions. All you need is a valid phone number to get started. Plus, upon registration, you’ll receive a free balance bonus, allowing you to experience all the app’s features right away.
