The main character in Steps of Debauchery is a 21-year-old woman called Riley. Riley is super hot and she is a college student where she is studying to be a nurse. Riley is married to an older man and he has a dream of opening his own bar and being the great gal that she is, Riley fully supports him. The two move to the big city so he can open his bar, but Riley is also going to keep going with her studies. However, she ends up being late for a big test and that changes things a great deal.
You see, Steps of Debauchery is basically a corruption style story. Riley shows up late for this big test and ends up being blackmailed by the dean! Not only that, it turns out that her finances are not as secure as she thought so she also has to decide if she is willing to do some more questionable things for money if you get what I am saying. While this does sound like your typical corruption style story. I do feel that this game has far more to offer than just that. Even in this rather early build, we get to meet and know many interesting characters and I do feel like they do a wonderful job of making Riley likable and not just your usual chick who turns into a nympho type thing!
The thing with Steps of Debauchery is that some people have said that they do not see why this is a sandbox style game and that it would be better if it were just a lewd visual novel. Sometimes I will admit that sandbox exploration elements in a lewd visual novel can feel tacked on, but I do not think that is the case here. You do as you would expect, have to make many different choices. However, there is a bit of an “adventure game” element to this as well. For example, you not only can pick where you want to go, but certain characters and quests will only be available at certain times. There are hidden objects to find too and a money system where you have to earn and pay money to loan sharks, little things like this do make you feel more like you are playing an actual video game than just an interactive story.
What I feel is going to make most people want to give Steps of Debauchery a try is the amazing visuals! The trailer gives you a little taste of the XXX scenes and they are just awesome. Riley is an amazing looking MC and the fact the sex scenes have animation makes them even hotter, you can even dress her up which is fun and hot, but they also make this tie into the gameplay. The characters are all easy on the eyes and while the dudes are all certainly “hung” it is not done in a ridiculous style like some other lewd games make the mistake of doing.

That means your choices from the previous update will shape how characters interact with you, but the overall scenes will remain similar.
Personally, I’m really proud of the new D&D scene. I know not everyone is a fan of this storyline, but the animations and renders are top-notch - you’ll feel like you’re in a real fantasy world!
