Realm Invader is a Ren'Py based adult visual novel. There are many characters with their own routes and fully animated sex scenes, accompanied by a winding plot with mystery and action.In this game, you follow a young soulless shell for you to self-insert into man who lives in a world very similar to yours. Recently, he's been riddled with several mysterious ailments, including headaches, goosebumps, and an inexplicable sense of dread.These symptoms were a warning, this man finds himself in the middle of a cataclysmic event, at least, it would seem so. Where cataclysms will typically lead to the destruction of a world, this one has led to a birth. The nature of his world has shifted around him. There are new species, an altered society, and magic.He needs to learn about his new circumstances and what he can do with his new magical abilities. This man will slowly come to realize why he was sent to this world and walks a journey to unravel the mystery of his existence.

Hey, everyone. Here I am.

I've finished writing the script for the new update and it's a long one. At 61,463 words, it's the yappiest update yet.

Unfortunately, I had a lot of creative difficulties and motivational issues writing this update. It's been far rougher for me than it was in the past, I've written almost the whole thing in a different headspace than I did for the previous episodes and I think I pushed myself to write when I wasn't really feeling it. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little concerned about that, I hope the writing doesn't come off as too unfocused. Again, this update is more relationship/character-focused. There's some nice development between the MC and the others, and another relationship becoming rockier than it was before.

4 lewd scenes await in this episode. Some sweet, some kinky, some both. Sadly, I had to push some content into the next update, which is particularly disappointing for me as there were some things I really wanted to show off. Plot developments and especially a certain lewd scene. This is a symptom of the earlier issues I alluded to regarding my own focus. The pacing of this update didn't need to be as slow as it is, but I hope it's still an entertaining journey.

Regardless of the potential shortcomings in the writing, I still plan on dazzling you with my loveable characters, rich visuals, and detailed animations. And despite my funny feelings not being the heeheehaha kind, I've still tried to squeeze in some goofy moments that you all seem to care so much about.

I have a clearer mind about the next update which will hopefully pull us back on track. There will be more thrills, more questions, more plot. It's kinda weird to be excited about the next two updates but whatever.

I still have work to do. While fully written, I'm not finished rendering. Development has and will be a little slower than last update I think, but comparatively it's still quite close. I regret that I'm currently not confident enough to give a release date prediction, though don't expect the game to be released in October barring a miracle. I'm sorry, I'm trying my best. But I never stopped and won't stop working.

I hope you all appreciate the good news. Now I need to get back to work. Consider becoming a supporter if you want more detailed and frequent updates on the state of the game. I'm not sure if and when I'll give another public status update before the update is finalized.

This is one of the games that is really underrated, beloved by most people who actually played it but it should be on the radar of even more AVN fans. I think it's up there with the likes of Eternum in terms of quality. Especiallythe writing and humor, which I vibe with even more. I think all of the LI's are great and a pleasure to be around with. It's a character/story driven VN, which is a good thing in my book. I enjoy a good slowburn and the payoff is great. I advocate for more Chloe content, she is such a cute bean!

So.. when is there gonna be any new updates? It's been over 10 months since the last one, yet there's a lot of people praising the game as if it was recently updates, really makes it feel like there's just a ton of bot accounts commenting to make the game look good. Especially when the dev hasn't responded to a single comment.

the next update is in its final stretch. VN authors are usually normal people, often with real jobs and mental health problems and shit. places like itch are slow to be updated, gotta check their discords or patreons and so on for more regular commentary from them. In any case, weve still got a good month+ of rendering to go and I dunno what bits of the process would need to happen after that, so while the next update has been slow coming, it IS on the horizon.

Gosh this game was incredibly stunning. The intro was a good build up, but when you get to meet all the girls, learn their personalities you really get hooked on everything. I loved the silly moments too, and the in-game animations really breathe life into the characters, and the environments. You really root for the MC, and the other girls. It's nice to have the visual flash of the choices you make too, and the writing is great.Thanks for making this brilliant Visual Novel! Looking forward to seeing how the story develops going forward. Regardless, and no matter how long it takes I'm in this for the long haul and emotionally invested! 

Final Thoughts:

Realm Invader is a very, very nice work on the visual component of the project with explicit content, a large number of characters, as well as a well-developed storyline. Fans of adequate development of the narrative will be very pleased with this. The main character during unexpected and extremely risky events for him is transferred to the body of a young man who lives in an alternative reality. It is similar to the original world for the protagonist, but there is magic here. And even so, the gamers' ward has a unique set of talents. Which he will have to develop in order to find answers to numerous questions.
