One of the things that I think Doomsday Robot Girl does incredibly well with its story is that it makes you question many things. At first, I was like, hell yeah this is awesome, a hot robot chick that wants to bang my brains out. However, cleverly, it makes you grow to like Emma more and more, especially as you uncover more about her past and who and what she really is. I do feel that there are a couple of pacing issues with the story, but for the most part, it is really well told and your decisions do matter as things can change depending on what you say and do.
While I would probably say that Doomsday Robot Girl best fits into the lewd visual novel category. There are also other adventure game style elements at play here. Each day you can explore the world, chat with Emma or do some “physical contact”. There is a basic combat system here, a bit of crafting, and a few other little simple gameplay systems that keep you interested and do a great job of keeping you interested in what is going on in this wasteland of a world.
I will admit that the first thing which caught my attention with Doomsday Robot Girl was those amazing visuals. This is such a great looking game and the lewd content on offer here is fantastic and it is all animated and animated very well I might add. This is a game that has a kind of AAA style about it in terms of how well done the art here is. I do also have to say that I like the various monster designs that the game has and the world in general is very well done.
