Wild Cats is a story-based role-playing game in which players are assigned to coach a school girls' volleyball team. Players are tasked with helping the diverse girls improve their volleyball skills. Through tailored training plans and psychological counseling, players are helped to resolve their daily struggles. However, as the game progresses, players will be constantly tempted by the girls. Story:

You are a highly anticipated up and coming volleyball star. Or rather, you were up until you destroyed your shoulder and your prospects along with it by overworking yourself. Now you're just a nobody who drowned your sorrows away with a series of poor life choices.

This story takes place after a wake up call following a year of wallowing in despair with a life that spiraled downhill under the shadow of the star volleyball prospect you once were. You have just received a vague invitation for a meeting from the Dean of Baskerville State University, a highly prestigious university, regarding a potential scholarship when no other universities would give the current you a second glance.The condition of this scholarship however would turn out to be facing your demons as you return to the sport you turned your back on in a new role, becoming the coach of the school's women's volleyball team.

But little did you know that facing your demons would be the easiest part of this task as the team is riddled with fatal problems, each threatening to end your scholarship left, right, and centre!  Yet by earnestly facing these girls and their issues with your eyes wide open, you might just end up growing in a way you never thought you would.

the lighting looks a bit to high contrast or is it just me?planned harem, no NTR and no Lesbian/bi planned ( hopefully it will stay that way) this already sounds good.my only critisism ( if you could call it that) is with the quality of the renders. havent worked with illusion before so I have no idea how it works but the lighting does seem a bit off and at some scenes the model's edges pixelise(?) low resolution perhaps?the story sounds good though, and I love HS so this definately goes to my watch list for now.thank you for the share and best of luck.

I rarely submit ratings but this is such a good start. Great girls and the story is kind of interesting -- it's hard to make me care about story in these games but I'm actually reading dialog! The renders are a little hit & miss -- the girls are beautiful but some of the renders have lots of pixelation or artifacting I wouldn't expect. Saki also has some minor model issues with her mouth that take her to the uncanny valley in some frames. But I find the renders have 100% more character than some of the super high-quality render gams out there, so while I hope the render side is polished, I'll still love this game if it just stays the same.

It's great. I don't really have much more to say. I tend to try to make more detailed reviews, but there's nothing especially groundbreaking or flawed enough to mention — that, and the story's still only in the first act. I like the trajectory of the MC's character development; the girls feel varied without being cookie-cutter; the animations are solid, but not mindblowing; and the plot has a pretty straightforward premise (so far). It's just a strong start for an AVN, and I recommend it.

Final Verdict:

Although I have played several visual novel games and have learned to let the plot give way to CG and gameplay, I think this game really achieves the meaning of "visual novel". The self-redemption of a bad boy, a very cliché plot, right? But the text is really touching. I have to state in advance that I have no experience of breaking the law, but this game really immersed me in it, allowing me to go from being forced to clean up the mess left by the male protagonist to truly understanding him, empathizing with him, and fighting with him. In this game, "novel" really beats CG and gameplay and becomes the core of the game, which is why I give it a full score. Of course, the art is also very good, every girl is very cute, and the details are also in place (for example, Eve's mole, she and the production team did not avoid it). I hope the game will be updated soon, and I recommend everyone to try it.
