The Promise is a casual game driven by story and choices. Players take on the role of a middle-aged man working hard to fulfill his promises to his family, encountering various story events and adventures, and meeting all sorts of characters. Different choices lead the story in different directions. During this time, players will not only have different endings and careers based on their choices, but will also have in-depth conversations with loved ones and unlock various exciting intimate scenes. In the game, players can improve their family members' corruption or love through verbal interactions and choices in story events. Ultimately, will they have a happy and fulfilling life or be betrayed by their loved ones? It all depends on the player's choices.

I have really enjoyed this game. Sure, it is only for fans of sandbox/grinding games and in some scenes it does turn to weird content which is not quite for everyone. I wouldn't count myself in to it as well but as the game is really nicely written and just makes fun you won't care if a few scenes appear too kinky. I love how "slow-progressing" the elements are which often make incest games less enjoyable. This one is really recommendable. Thank you.

Man! The dev knows how to savour the "slow burn". Although I'd prefer the game had taken up a pace a notch or two, it still is pretty good.I feel graphics and animations are average but truly down to earth. To be honest, a good majority of side-story female characters (FC) look sexier than MC's wife — as they sport an impressive rack and more attractive crotch.However, I do enjoy developing and deepening wife sex relationship. The dev knows where he's going with it hopefully.Pub dates are super spicy in terms of text complemented by spicy visuals. However, I wish there were more variety of pub sharing events and open sex with clients at City hall which is lacking presently.All in all, I look forward to more NTR/cheating options sooner than later.

Many repetitive, with the good and bad of this kind of situations, but extremly hard long to achive thee quests, innecesary for this types of games. more hours of SKYRYM, i like all kind of womens, GILF, MILF, hairy and shaved, thats its a goal, i rather milf hairy, and this gamee had.

A bit grindy but very enjoyable. A lot of options! I wish there was a better guide or quest system to know my progress. Still I love the premise. Can't wait for the next update. Reading through the update notes I see a lot of content that I haven't experienced yet. I wish I knew why.

What is the „Talk with developer day“, and how often will it be?

I think there will be 4 per year and perhaps more if gamers need it. You can ask us questions about the game; give feedback or share other wishes for the game. And we can talk about it anytime on the Discord Channel.

You make a lot of „promises“, will they all come true or is this going to be one of those abandoned Patreon games one day?

I am aware of this effect, but I think this will be a great game and I can promise you I will never abandon this project or put it on hold to make another project.

What do the versions numbers mean?

These indicate the steps to make it easy for you to understand the game’s progress.

Why is the public version the same as the Patreon version?

We’re working on one version of the game. The difference is the time it comes available to the public. Patrons get the latest version first. The highest tier straight on the release date.

Do I have to start a new game with every update?

No, but sometimes it can be recommended start a new game as the game is under development, I will tell you when this is the case.

But Can I use my old saves on Android for a new update?

For Android the game can’t be overwritten like PC and Mac. But you can back up your save game before you install the new version.  We will explain this under the new release post on Patreon.

Are the included events finished?

Not all are, and during the development it’s possible a route will continue in a different version. This will be mentioned in RED letters when you reach a current end for this version.

Will there be cheats or saves?

No, see point 10 under "Game".

When will the finished version of “The Promise“ the Beginning be released?

I estimate at the end of 2022 or early 2023. It depends on the circumstances, since this is my first game. Starting 2017 with a RPGMaker version I’ve switched engines July 2018 to the Ren’Py version. The maximum time I’ve given myself is 5 years for the first part of the project. It’s a learning process.
