MAGICAMI is a casual adventure game where players lead 12 magical girls with distinct personalities to fight against a surge in demons and prevent the world from collapsing. The game offers both manual and auto-battle modes. Players choose a team of four girls and participate in battles, easily acquiring resources to nurture their characters and focusing their energy on interacting with the magical girls and exploring the story. As the bond between the player and the girls deepens, more date scenes will be unlocked, and their potential will be unleashed, enhancing their combat abilities.
Excellent animated graphics: The game’s excellent graphics quickly set it apart from its competitors by creating a vibrant and bustling environment for combat and world exploration. The visual effects are also impressive, revealing a lot about each character’s personality and adding to the anticipation of the combat. The character designs are stunning and you can have a great time following the girls and marveling at their endless progress toward beauty.
We are looking for strong and active female recruiters: All combat units in the game are beautiful and unique females, so you can focus on building a balanced and effective team. As the girls progress at their own pace, their skills and effects can be combined to unleash their full combat power. As you progress, many new characters will be introduced, introducing you to many new experiences, ideas, and potential opportunities for personal growth.
Turn-based combat mechanics are fun and exciting: The turn-based gameplay hides fast-paced combat that surprises you with a variety of random activities and mechanics. Additionally, the systems and characters teach you different strategies to help you get the most out of your combat action. Associating different mechanics with specific characters as the story progresses, adds variety to the game and leaves a lasting impression.
Build a relationship with a beautiful girl: The love system is a novel way to get closer to your favorite characters and share unforgettable moments. Increased compassion and interaction can be achieved through a variety of activities, including Giving gifts, creating your own space, and more. When your relationship reaches its peak, you deserve the spiritual reward of doing tricky things for each other.

For the event boxes, since you are new and the event is ending soon. I recommend switching boxes as soon as you get all the Limit Break and Skill up mats. It will save you some ticket. For future team building, Event bosses usually killed with "Cut" debuff, it will damage the boss proportionally to their Max HP. Try to build your event boss party with dress that can inflict cut.
I don't recommend buying event dress from medal shop tho. They are mediocre, at best. And medals are best used to buy Fate Sphere MAX to limit break your UR dress in the future.
About banner, I recommend waiting for R2 Ao. She is a beast (you can read more information about her in the Beginner Guide). If you somehow managed to get R2 Ao, you can save up your jewel and roll for Lunatic Succubus Aka in the future Magifest banner. Swimsuit Eliza is good but you can skip her for now.
Then some tips, try to save up your jewel (go for 90K. In case you have a really bad luck, at least you still get the dress from pity) for a specific dress you want to aim. You can read the Beginner Guide and decide which dress you want to aim. Don't worry about not able to strengthen your roster since you will get tons of Premium Ticket from events and daily play. Use that ticket and you will eventually get a decent roster to carry you through future content.
Last but not least, look for a decent club. Maybe you can try joining club ranked around 51-100 or 100+ in SF, they will help you grow your team and get lots of jewel. And do your daily 5 Sabbath battle, it will give you lots of Sabbath points that you can use in the Sabbath shop.

Iroha Asobe: Iroha is a student at Arihane Institute. She is the first magical girl encountered by Omnis, along with her best friend, Kaori Tomonaga. Being a magical girl is her dream come true, and she often speaks from the perspective that this is the best thing any of the magical girls have ever been a part of. She is the heart and soul of the group, using most of her interactions to cheer people up or remind them of what they are fighting for.Iroha is very fond of Omnis. She is careful in handling him and defends his actions. Kamisaman seems to like Iroha, and is impressed with Iroha's endless optimism, though she seems to think Iroha is too impulsive.
Kaori Tomonaga: Due to seeing her best friend, Iroha Asobe, in danger, Kaori joins your party. She is a serious girl who values her grades above demon slaying. Kaori is more responsible than Iroha and Cocoa Yuwase. She is commonly teased due to her chest being smaller than the other Magical Girls. She is not as physically fit as the other Magical Girls, but she is seen to be very protective of Iroha, even stopping Nemesis.Prior to joining Arihane, Kaori applied to a extremely prestigious school, but failed the entrance exam due to a mental breakdown (caused by extreme stress and burnout). Kaori then spent a year as a hikikomori in her depression. Iroha came to visit her every day, and Kaori's isolation was eventually ended by Iroha breaking down the door.
Seira Sodeshiro: Considered one of the most beautiful girls at Arihane Institute, in addition to being an honor student, Seira is especially admired by Kaori Tomonaga. Seira did not want to become a magical girl, but she became one to protect her friend, Cocoa Yuwase, during a battle in which Iroha Asobe and Kaori were fighting too many demons to help Cocoa. It is explained that her protective nature for Cocoa comes from the death of her older sister, who was hit by a car while pushing her out of the road.Seira can scare the other magical girls if she sees a messy room. Her primary weapon is a vacuum cleaner, and her theme color is purple.
Cocoa Yuwase: Cocoa is often described as the "big-boobed perky pigtails type." She became a Magical Girl because it sounded fun. While she loves to have fun, she is used to taking care of her two younger brothers and preparing food for her friend Seira.
Eliza Yukifune: Unfamiliar with Japanese culture. Interested in games and building robots. Eliza acts like she is fully aware of all strange circumstances and repeatedly makes statements starting "Yours truly." Eliza is high-class, often called "Princess" by others. Though she does not display it early on, and she often uses the wrong words in expressions, she is almost as intelligent as her cousin, Akisa Higashiyama.
Ao Ohtori: Ao is Student Body President of Takeraho Academy, but sometimes turns to Akisa Higashiyama or Eliza Yukifune to handle numbers. She felt she had to be able to protect her sister, Aka Ohtori, and became very strong physically. Due to this, she is considered a cool girl. She became a Magical Girl to help Akisa when White Omnis attacked Takeraho Academy. She was willing to sacrifice herself for the other Magical Girls to escape danger.

Magicami is described as a “city pop magic girls” game, and exists in both all-ages and adults-only 18+ (with mosaic censoring) formats, and your progress persisting across both versions. Our exploration of the game today is based on the 18+ version, though in the couple of hours I played I only encountered one adult scene. Granted, this was the very first thing in the whole game, but it’s worth noting that this is a narrative-centric eroge rather than a sex-heavy nukige, and as such you should ensure your expectations are set appropriately!
Unlike many other free-to-play gacha-based games, Magicami DX thankfully eschews the time-consuming and rather patronising “big floating arrow” style of tutorial that some other games provide, and instead opens with a lengthy visual novel sequence that sets the scene for what is to come. In the 18+ version, the story opens with two people sharing an exceedingly well animated (and fully voiced) intimate moment, but their passionate shenanigans are seemingly interrupted when the girl, “Isana”, appears to be sucked into the heavens, melting into what looks like paint in the process.
After this seeming non-sequitur of an opening, we’re introduced to the main male protagonist, who is known as Tobio. Tobio has, in true anime style, forgotten who he is, and moreover is rather concerned the most recognisable parts of his bedroom now appear to be floating in some sort of cloud-filled void.
On top of that, there’s an overenthusiastic young woman in a natty Aran jumper who appears to know our hero, and who may or may not be God. In short order, she explains the situation to him: a demon invasion is threatening the general wellbeing of the world, and the only way to stop it is to make use of magical girls to battle said demons before they greedily devour humanity a piece at a time, erasing the entire existence of a person as part of said devouring process.
We’re subsequently introduced to Iroha and Kaori, the first two magical girl candidates — Iroha is thrilled about this, Kaori takes a bit more convincing — who, after a relaxing karaoke session, find themselves inadvertently stumbling into the demonic “Flux” dimension. Tobio, transformed into a floating cat-like thing known as “Omnis” (or “Om-Om” to the girls) comes to realise that his very presence allows the girls to take advantage of an app on their phones that not only allows them to transform into magical girls, it also changes their phone into a weapon that suits their personality.
From hereon, you work your way through a linear main story, alternating between visual novel-style storytelling sequences and turn-based RPG battle sequences, as you attempt to recruit more magical girls to the fold and do your best to drive back the demonic menace.
It’s pure anime, and it’s delightful. The fact that the “tutorial” episode unfolds primarily as story rather than dry mechanical explanations really helps you get invested into the game’s setting and develop a liking for the characters, but there’s enough interactivity to demonstrate that the game clearly has some depth to it.
And it’s presented well. The majority of the dialogue sequences feature well-detailed, enormously expressive cel-shaded polygonal characters, and this really brings the narrative to life. The whole thing is accompanied by some good quality voice acting — though not every line is voiced, sadly — and some absolutely banging music.
The superior visuals of the game immediately distinguish it from its competitors by creating a vibrant and bustling environment for combat and world exploration. The visual effects are also stunning, revealing a lot about each character’s personality and raising the stakes of the fight. The character designs are stunning, ensuring you have the best time to follow the girls around and marvel at their never-ending progress toward beauty.
