Gameplay of NU Carnival:

There are three ways to increase a character's combat power: level up, tier breakthrough, potential ability, and tryst.

Level up: This is the easiest way to increase combat power. For reference, even if the level EXP is exceeded, the corresponding EXP is stored when the level goes up. 12 EXP per stamina is fixed.

Tier Breakthrough: Characters that appear in duplicate in the contract draw are converted into fragments, and can be upgraded when a certain number of fragments are accumulated. You can also exchange it with a memory crystal in Store → Special Exchange. Memory Crystals can be obtained in quantities of 5 per draw or by clearing a specific secret meeting room. As tiering up is difficult, the character's attack power, stamina, and most of all, 'special move skills' are strengthened when tiering up. Great game, but the characters being stuck in a single pose for practically the whole game feels really repetitive. Battle could also be made more engaging instead of automated victories. The characters should have dialogues more than they have skins, I don't mind not having skins, but the characters repeating the same dialogues over and over again is quite uninteresting.
