SD Gundam G Generation ETERNAL is a strategy game designed specifically for Gundam series fans. Players can not only build and train their favorite Gundam warriors, but also form teams to fight alongside them. In turn-based battles, players can strategically position their Gundam warriors and utilize their special skills to defeat opponents and earn rich rewards to continuously enhance their warriors' combat power. Each Gundam warrior has its own role: offense, defense, and support. Players need to flexibly combine their lineups to deal higher damage. Of course, the game is constantly being updated, with more new Gundam warriors and events being continuously introduced, bringing more fun to players.
Turn-based strategy gameplay: SD Gundam G Generation ETERNAL’s gameplay revolves around turn-based combat, where every decision can impact the outcome of the battle. The battles take place on a hexagonal chessboard, and players need to arrange their formation and place their Mobile Suits accordingly. Each Gundam has its own unique stats for attack, defense, range and mobility.Choosing the right position is the deciding factor. If you make the wrong move or let your Mobile Suit fall into the enemy’s range without a defense plan, the possibility of being destroyed is very high. Other than the position advantage, each Gundam also possesses special skills that can be used in battle. The players need to calculate the activation time to achieve optimal efficiency. The challenge is not just in fighting. Before any fight, you have to consider upgrading and choosing the right unit for the job. This is not a game that can be won easily by clicking automatically, but requires careful calculation and exploiting the strengths of each Gundam.
Build the right team: When entering SD Gundam G Generation ETERNAL, you not only control a Mobile Suit but also need to build a suitable team to fight. Choosing the right Gundam and character will largely determine the outcome of the match. Each Mobile Suit has its own role, from powerful attack models to support units that help maintain the team’s endurance.A balanced team needs to have a combination of main damage and defense. If you only pilot strong offense Gundams without backup, the team can be quickly defeated by counterattacks. On the other hand, playing too defensively with not enough firepower, you will struggle to end the game quickly. You have to play Mobile Suits with support abilities such as recovery, armor increase or creating beneficial effects for allies.
Upgrading Mobile Suit: Other than choosing a Gundam, the character you are piloting is also important. Certain pilots have skills that maximize the power of the Mobile Suit, while others increase the ability to dodge or counterattack. The game has a comprehensive upgrade system, which allows players to upgrade important statistics such as HP, ATK, DEF, thus making the Mobile Suit stronger in each battle. Additionally, some models can unlock unique skills, which provide a variety of advantages while battling with enemies.

A Massive Gundam Lineup: There’s no shortage of choices here—over 500 Mobile Suits and characters straight from 70 different Gundam stories. Pick your favorites, mix and match squads, and see if that dream team you imagined actually works. There’s even more on the horizon, since new suits and titles are added over time.
Epic Battles with Real Strategy: Don’t just rush in—this is a turn-based Simulation challenge that rewards careful planning. Decide where to place every Mobile Suit, when to activate their unique skills, and learn how to use each unit’s strengths to outmaneuver the enemy. Each stage brings its own objective; sometimes it’s not just about blasting everything in sight.
Relive Iconic Gundam Scenarios: The Main Stage lets you play through storylines pulled from some of the most legendary Gundam shows out there. We’re talking classics like “Mobile Suit Gundam,” “Gundam SEED,” “Gundam 00,” IRON-BLOODED ORPHANS, and even “The Witch from Mercury.” You’ll catch famous quotes and unforgettable scenes, whether you’re here for nostalgia or discovering a new favorite.

Focus On The Main Story: SD Gundam G Generation Eternal's story is divided into anime series, which present stages and cutscenes based on the original series. This means playing through the original Mobile Suit Gundam storyline will have you witnessing Amuro's first time piloting the Gundam, his first encounter with the Red Comet, and so on.The story is also the primary way you unlock new content in the game, so it's definitely worth focusing on above all else. Completing certain chapters will unlock new features like Upgrade Stages, which finishing a series will unlock another one.Upgrading your Player Rank also unlocks new features, but this will rise over time as you spend AP.
Develop New Mobile Suits: The Development Diagram system allows you to craft Mobile Suits using Capital, materials, and other Units. While most crafted Units can only go up to SSR-rarity, these Units are incredibly valuable for story progression, as you can make Units of a specific series, which helps when forming your story squads. More details on that next. You'll also get rewards based on your progress on a Development Diagram, like SP Conversion Chips, which are used to increase the max level of your non-UR Units. While UR Units are definitely the strongest, they are also the hardest to get, and it's more than possible to clear the entirety of the story without using them. This is why it's important to develop new Units using Development Diagrams.
Pay Attention To Squad Formation: Before you deploy on each story mission stage, you'll need to set up Formations for a Story Squad and a Free Squad. Like the name suggests, the Free Squad can be comprised of any Units you own. However, the Story Squad must be filled with Units from the same series as the mission. For example, if you're deploying on Mobile Suit Gundam Stage 5, your Story Squad can only have Units from Mobile Suit Gundam, like the original Gundam, Zaku II, GM, Guntank, and so on.Additionally, every Squad is comprised of five Units, five Pilots, and one Supporter. Pilots provide skills that can be used by their Unit in battle, as well as providing that unit with certain buffs. These are also usually tied to Mobile Suits from specific series. For example, Setsuna F. Seiei's third buff provides Units tagged with Celestial Being 15 percent damage reduction. Finally, each squad can take a Supporter ship into battle, which work like a combination of Units and Pilots. Each Supporter has skills that it can use in battle to aid in combat, like restoring health or EN. Additionally, each Supporter will provide a buff to Units of a specific series in the Squad. For example, Dren and Musai provide 18 percent increased stats to Units from Mobile Suit Gundam. You'll also want to have an even mix of Attack, Support, and Durability Units. Each role performs a different function in combat, but all contribute to your success, so don't neglect this aspect of your Formation. When building your formation, you'll need to keep all of these factors in mind for the best outcome in battle. The primary thing to consider is how to take the highest advantage of Story Squad and Support ship bonuses, as these will contribute the best increases to your Squad's stats during story missions.

This really feels and plays like the SD Gundam games on PC. The new SEED Destiny update is even better: Now the game uses the music from the SEED Destiny Series! Now we just need an update so that we can choose/customize which music is playing in other game modes. ProTip: The Gacha is not really needed to advance. Just like the SD Games in PC, all we need is to develop the units from the series and fully-upgrade them. A maxed SSR from development is stronger than an UR with no duplicates.
I love this game! ive collected almost the entire mobile suit album! My only concern is that the hardest eternal road stages are too difficult i think (Either that or i just dont have the correct suits?).i also wish getting SSR and UR copies of gacha options was a little easier. I would spend all the $ if they released a UR version of Akatsuki Gundam! i would also love to see the "Freedom" movie mobile suits!
Like most gatcha games game is super generous early in. The game is definitely more complex than the console SD Gundam games. Though still suffers from some elements used to monetize. like the power level system. If you are like me and hoping for the next SD Gundam title, this is a good tie over.
the battles are fun and engaging. you can auto battle if you like. but the AI will not be making the optimal moves for you. you can do better than the auto. so if you're struggling to beat a level try moving the pieces yourself. very tactical, great story (obviously), wonderful music, and all of the gundams!! A++ game. is there some way to make the comics in English? or translate them in some fashion please? you don't need to spend money, it just takes time.

All the unforgettable locations and famous quotes from your favorite Gundam series are reproduced in the game.
