Gameplay of Bandle:

Bandle refreshes at midnight in your local time every single day, giving you a new song to try your best to guess. There's also a handy timer near the bottom of the page, letting you know exactly how long you have to wait until the next game.

There are also six bonus rounds available each day if you're not satisfied with just the one main song. These have you guessing tracks from lyrics, trivia questions, and even the BPM - but they are only available on the Bandle app at this point in time.

Similar to other music-guessing games like Heardle, Bandle gives you six tries to guess a new song every single day. However, instead of progressively revealing the track by length, Bandle instead reveals new instruments to eventually create a complete composition.

The five steps you'll work through are Drums, Bass, Electric Guitar + Synth, Guitar + Backing Vocals, then Voice Cover, with a final round giving you a clue for the song's name. You can either skip if you have no idea or try your luck with a guess - but if you don't get it after the clue then you'll lose.

Fun, quick daily entertainment. I don't love that if I miss more than a day it wants me to "pay to keep my streak", but it won't cost much for those who care to keep the streak going. Kudos to the developer for working on this solo, giving us something to look forward to every day! I've purchased one paid bundle and I'm sure I'll add more eventually.

I love playing the daily Bandle. It gives me a daily challenge to "name that tune", which I've loved doing in various forms since I was a kid many decades ago. The app has a wide variety of song packs available as well if a particular genre is your jam. One guy maintains the app, and he does a good job.

As a musician, I love using Bandle to put my music knowledge to the test. However, I have noticed that some of the Daily Bandle's have repeated themselves - it's rare, but it has happened once or twice. Also, if there was a bigger team behind this app, I would wish that there were sub-categories for the Daily Bandle. having the option to chose your Music Genre for the Daily would be great for those only into certain Genre's but love to try keep their Daily Streak going.
