How can I unlock LFS S3?
If you have purchased an S1, S2 or S3 license, you can unlock LFS using your LFS username and unlock code. You can request a new unlock code on your Personal details page .On the first screen of LFS after you start it up, there is an "Unlock Live for Speed" button, which takes you to the unlock screen. There, enter your LFS username and your unlock code (in the field named "GAME password") and press the Unlock button at the bottom right of the screen. If you've entered the correct username and unlock code and you are connected to the internet, LFS should unlock.
Can I make my own cars/tracks for LFS?
Tracks no, cars yes! As of Live for Speed version 0.7A we have made our vehicle editor available to the public so anyone can create Vehicle Mods. You can grab it from our downloads page. There is no track editor which is a lot more complex than the vehicle editor. It may become available in the future, but we have no concrete plans for that yet.
How often can I unlock?
Initially you will be granted 3 unlocks. In addition, you get an additional unlock available every friday, provided you do not already have 2 unlocks available. So unless you are having severe problems with your computer, you should be fine and always able to unlock LFS again after a reinstallation of Windows for example, or when you buy new computer parts or a whole new computer.
How can I use a voucher code to upgrade my LFS account?
A voucher code is a special code with which you can upgrade your LFS account to S1, S2 or S3 licensed, here on the website. The 20 digit voucher code can be used during account registration on this website, or afterwards on your Account status page. When that's done and your account has been upgraded, you can unlock S3 using your username and unlock code.
