It transforms numerous comic book characters into pixelated figures, allowing you to freely control them as they navigate various obstacles and go as far as possible. As you progress, you'll unlock more different characters, each with unique traits that will help you go further. The game features a variety of maps, including Toy Barn, Glory Land, and Haunted House, where you'll find elements from the animated films in these pixelated scenes! Of course, each world presents different challenges; overcome these challenges to see more Disney movie scenes!

Gameplay

The gameplay of Disney Crossy Road is the same as the original. Tap the screen to move your character forward, and swipe left or right to move them left or right. With these simple controls, you need to go as far as possible while avoiding various obstacles along the way.

At the start of the game, you can only use one character, but as you progress, you can unlock more. Best of all, each movie has its unique scenes, and you can unlock more than six different scenes from the most famous Disney movies.

Highlights

The highlight of *Disney Crossy Road* lies in its character design. The game features a diverse cast of Disney movie stars, each presented with charmingly blocky designs that feel instantly relatable. Starting with Mickey Mouse, I experienced typical cross-road gameplay: leaping and weaving through busy traffic, navigating around trees, and using logs to cross rivers.

Only as I unlocked more characters did I realize the sheer variety *Disney Crossy Road* offers. My second character was Rapunzel from *Tangled*, and suddenly the world transformed into one of knights and other medieval elements. Next, Buzz Lightyear unlocked a toy world, and so on, as I discovered that each movie offered unique scenes for players to explore.

Even better, characters unlock quickly; a new character costs only 100 coins, and coins are given out regularly… Of course, if you're impatient or really want a specific character, you can pay for it.
