GRID Legends is an exhilarating racing game that offers players a vast selection of vehicles and hundreds of tracks with varying difficulty levels, allowing you to push your driving skills to the limit. The game features a narrative-driven career mode, where you can witness the evolution of the Ravenwest Motorsport team and follow the journey of the driver behind the wheel of the 22 car. With extensive customization options, you can also create your own bespoke races—adding obstacles, setting vehicle restrictions, and defining unique rules—before inviting others to take on the challenge, or testing your own mettle on tracks created by fellow players to see if you can set a new record.

Gameplay of GRID Legends:

Grid Legends contains more than 130 tracks to race on, ranging from real-life circuits like Brands Hatch, Indianapolis Motor Speedway, Suzuka International Racing Course and the return of Mount Panorama Circuit, to street circuits in various cities such as San Francisco, Paris, London, and Moscow. The game features more than 100 vehicles, including touring cars, tractor unit truck, open-wheel car, stadium trucks, drift cars, and even electric vehicles, to compete in arena ovals, on street circuits, or off-road tracks. For the first time in the series, players have the ability to create their own races, including custom routes, obstacles, vehicle restrictions, and rules.

Inspired by Netflix's documentary series Formula 1: Drive to Survive, the game includes a story-focused career mode for the first time in the series, entitled "Driven to Glory". Codemasters had previously opted to include a plot-focused career mode in F1 2021 with Braking Point. In Grid Legends, however, the mode is much more narrative-focused, with the story in particular focusing on an unnamed racing driver referred to only as "Driver 22" (named after the driver's race number and the fact that the game supports for up to 22 players). A number of professional actors have been hired to portray different characters in the game, utilizing the same virtual set technology used in the American Space Western television series The Mandalorian to insert the actors into virtual backgrounds. The cast includes actor Ncuti Gatwa, who portrays Valentin Manzi, number one driver for Voltz Racing.

Strategies of GRID Legends:

drive in first person view, interior or hood cam. The sense of speed is completely removed in third person view. More immersion, also more difficult. If you have always played with exterior cameras, give hood cam an opportunity. Try, you’ll not regret it.

play with manual gearing. The driving experience is light years away, and you’ll be faster. At first seems very difficult, but soon you’ll learn to drive by ear. Besides going faster, manual gearing gives you much more control of the car, racing feels much more enjoyable.

learn to play with no assists. Again, it’s difficult at first, but much more enjoyable when dominated. Remove one assist, learn, move to the next when feel comfortable, repeat. Don’t get stressed about driving with no assists, just as your own pace. The most difficult assists to remove, imho, are TCS (for powerful cars) and ABS. Personal note: after years playing only with ABS, I’ve recently removed ABS in Dirt Rally and, after a couple of days getting used to, now I feel much more close to the gravel than before.

Remove the racing line. Seriously, with the racing line on, you just watch and only see the damn line. Removing it forces you to learn the track, to choosse your own line. It’s much more enjoyable to create and follow your own line. This forces you to learn some reference points for each turn. Extremely more enjoyable. The track becomes much more visible.

Play difficult, challenging. Going from 16th to 1st in three laps is not a race, it’s a quick lonely obstacles run. Set a challenging level and be at your own pace. It’s better to start 16th and fight for 8th that get stressed to be first. My rule of thumb here is: if you are new to a track/category and you win, it’s too easy. I prefer to fight for some positions, and end in the middle of the leaderboard than being always in the podium because my car is faster than the others.

Same for global leaderboards. Don’t even worry for the firsts positions. In the daily/weekly challenges, if you are around the 2000th, fight to be 1500th. Then try to get to 1000th. And so. At the end, you are competing against yourself, improving.

It's the best racing game you can get on mobile, by far. The story is amazing, the game looks insane for a phone port, driving feels smooth, and not only is this identical to the PC version, it actually includes all paid DLC content for free. For a mobile game, sure it's pricey, but this game is still less than half the price that it normally is on PC, even though it's the same exact game. There are some framerate drops on the S26U, but if your device can handle this, it's worth playing.

Hands down one of best racing game I have ever played. Being able to play a console level game, with console level quality in the mobile is the best art of it. If they could add multiplayer, this game would be even better. (I know they won't and also the pc game is retiring, so I don't expect, but if they manage to do it, I am all for it.)

This game is the best racing game by far on mobile ever...although this game is already 15GBS plus and is undoubtedly stunning...there are some things i wish to be added...Firstly a simulator difficulty setting for players looking for absolute control of their cars...such as aero,brake bias,tire temps and pressures...etc. These can compliment adding more visuals such as glowing red brake rotors after one or two laps...refining small things would be appreciated...thank u.

Was heavily considering not buying this because I tried it on console but this version has all the DLCs. I just finished the campaign, and I gotta say, it really holds its own against its console counterpart. with just minor quality shifts, the game is pretty much the same as playing on the PS5. Not at all regretting buying this version. go for it guys, it's the best replacement for Real Racing 3.
