One Million Coins is a first-person adventure game that places you before a bank vault filled with a million gold coins. Using whatever tools you have at your disposal, you must dig through the pile and deposit the coins into a collection machine. Watching the counter climb from zero to a million offers a deeply satisfying sense of accomplishment. You can also spend your collected coins to upgrade your tools and storage bags—evolving from using your bare hands to employing massive magnets—which boosts your collection efficiency and helps you clear out the entire vault even faster. The game is optimized for mobile devices, allowing you to fully customize button layouts, sensitivity, and control schemes for a more comfortable and personalized gaming experience.

It was fun for the initial playthrough which took me under 3 hours. But once you finish it once theres nothing left to really do except gain a few more skill points to max out skills just for the hell of it. Could use some other modes and challenges imo.
Probably the best $2.50 I've spent on a game in a while. It starts slow, like any incremental game and takes multiple runs to unlock every upgrade (which is not needed at all). BUT it was so much fun diving into a pile of gold and picking it all up at that point.
Clocked it at 1hour18minutes from start to finish for the first play-through. Got every upgrade under 1 hour and 30 minutes. So, it's a fun game but it truly is extremely short. Glad the price tag wasn't too high, but still, wish there was a little more content. Also using the hand's RMB at full upgrades will clear the entire middle section top-to-bottom, but it leaves all the edges and coins on railings undone.
One Million Coins delivers exactly what its title promises, and the experience is more entertaining than its simple concept might suggest. The upgrade system provides satisfying progression, while the increasingly powerful equipment makes collecting coins faster and more rewarding. Its short length also works in its favor. Players can enjoy the complete experience without investing dozens of hours. However, the missing V-Sync option and rushed endgame prevent it from earning a perfect score. The conclusion especially feels like a missed opportunity. After working toward one million coins, we expected a little more excitement when reaching the finish line.Despite these shortcomings, One Million Coins remains an enjoyable incremental game that deserves attention from fans of casual progression-based experiences.

Pick up the first 25 coins by hand. It’s the only thing you can do at the start.
Spend your first point on the first chutes upgrade. It only gives 1/s, but that beats grabbing coins by hand.
Turn in your capacity and keep gathering by hand.
Rush the portable bank, which takes 3 points. Put each new point into faster deposits and empty your small capacity. You should only need to turn in about 2 times.
When you earn your 4th point (1 chute, 3 deposit), place the portable bank. It gathers 1000 coins per second, many times more than you can gather by hand.
You’ll usually place the portable bank around 3–5 minutes in. From here, the bank does most of the work while you help out. The goal is to balance gathering speed and capacity, so you collect as many coins as you can without ever having to deposit them.
Take the first 3 big cap (left side) upgrades.
Take ghost hand 1 (middle hands tree).
Add a few more capacity upgrades as needed.
Take flow (left side hand tree).
Keep taking capacity upgrades until the full left side tree is done, then switch to the grab active. Before this, the active is still too weak to be worth it.
You’ll usually get the grab active around 8–10 minutes in. Once you have it, it’s usually worth going straight down its full tree for the biggest percentage increase. You can also take the middle capacity tree at this point for an even bigger cap, around 800k by the end.
The main boosts for the hand active seem to be:
Capacity size, for the percentage part
Hand gather size, from the other 2 lines
Ghost hands, which also seem to help a lot. It’s unclear whether that comes from the coin amounts or whether the ghosts use the active too.
By now, each active should gather 10k–25k coins, and you’ll start getting several upgrade points per use. Spend them in this order:
Fill out capacity.
Fill out the middle and left hand lines.
Put the rest into auto deposit (up to 25%) and chutes.
Draining sections: The active can pull so many coins that it empties a whole section (see the Map section). Right now, the active fails if there are coins above the target. Drain sections too fast and you may have to walk back up to reach the others, which is slow. From early to mid game, hit each section from the top so you don’t leave an empty bowl in the middle.

How long does it take to beat One Million Coins?
According to Steam player consensus, beating One Million Coins takes an average of 1.5 to 3 hours. If you follow an optimized upgrade order focusing on passive banking rather than manual shovel clicks, you can easily reach the final milestone in under two hours.
Can you automate coin digging in One Million Coins?
Yes, you can completely automate coin digging. Once you amass your first 50,000 coins, you unlock the primary vacuum and collection radius tools. These automated banking mechanisms generate passive income, making manual clicking entirely obsolete for the remainder of your playthrough.
How many achievements are there in One Million Coins?
There are exactly 16 Steam achievements available in the launch build of One Million Coins. Most are tied to natural progression milestones, like reaching specific coin thresholds, while a few require hidden triggers such as maxing out your vault capacity early.
Does One Million Coins have an ending or prestige mode?
The game features a definitive ending once you successfully bank exactly one million coins. Unlike many other endless incremental games, there is currently no prestige mode or new game plus option in the October 2026 version, making it a short, focused experience.
What are the One Million Coins best tools for late game?
The best late-game tools are the passive banking multipliers and the secondary vacuum mechanism. Reinvesting your gold into these upgrades creates a compounding yield that drastically outpaces raw click strength, easily generating thousands of coins per second while you idle.
One Million Coins continues to deliver a straightforward and engaging first-person mining incremental experience centered on accumulating one million gold coins. The core gameplay loop revolves around repetitive mining, banking deposits, and upgrading tools to steadily increase mining efficiency.
