He longs to escape her clutches, and to salvage matters with his wife and his daughter before things are too late – but some mistakes are impossible to forget, and some sins can never be forgotten.

Reviews:

This game was definitely disturbing. I'm still in shock after finishing it because what the actual. Deadass felt like I was gonna throw up.Writing was amazing and kept me engaged all throughout. It being a kinetic VN was no issue at all and I actually prefer it that way. This game totally knocked it out of the park. I loved the darker themes, the banter between characters, and the fact Robin is such a doormat. Like good god man, could you be any less of a piece of?I love how he was written. His guilt yet lack of true care towards his family as he elopes with some young girl was not only awful in it's own right, but the way he consistently makes horrible decisions makes you feel a whole load of things towards him as a character. Pity, anger, disappointment, disgust, sometimes even guilt on his behalf. The writing for Sally was also great. The way she was written really showed how much she hates him, but also how she still has a soft spot and still truly loves him. It also built contempt for her very quickly and showed why Robin hates her. I hated her from the start but felt worse and worse for that as the plot continued. Soon, all I could feel was pity for her. The setup for the story was good, nothing felt too repetitive to read and soon I was pretty hooked on the plot and excited for more. There's fanservice, and it was pretty good both art and writing wise. Robin's unfaithful behavior and enabling his increasingly toxic side relationship was surprisingly fun to watch unfold and it only made the fanservice better, especially as the writing made things feel more and more risky.

This is a hard game to recommend, not because it’s poorly written or badly translated, in fact this game is really well written, and the drawings are pretty on point. The storyline while interesting seems to really tow the line between what is and isn’t decent. I can suspend disbelief about somethings, but the girl really gives off minor vibes, (doesn’t help when she dons a school girl uniform) I mean I know the game makes it a point to say she’s GENERALLY much older, playing the game just kind of makes you feel dirty, like watching Stanley Kubrick’s Lolita, or Blue Lagoon or even Sweet Sweetback. It’s just you really feel like you need a shower... Then the ending hits you and you’re like, Jesus #$@#$..

I must admit - that was quite hell of a ride.I was a great deal impressed and horrified by the story in this kinetic visual novel. Being a person who likes psychological and disturbing themes, each moment of this novel was nothing less than pure enjoyment. Not every story has to be friendly, and it's one of the most excellent things a story can achieve: make the reader feel bad yet thankful about reading it.The concept and storyline were brilliantly thought-out, with one of the best plot twists I've ever encountered. The ending just left me feeling thoroughly mindblown. That took a very dark yet captivating turn for this kinetic novel, turning instantly into a fan favorite for me. It even solidifies my conviction that having a demon catgirl is the pinnacle of our society. This may come as quite weird, but I enjoyed the love scene; the presentation itself was excellent. It was especially well-described by the accompanying dialogues, poetic in nature but with an ease of understanding that goes hand in hand with the happenings on screen. This is undoubtedly one of my favorite moments in 'Sweetest Monster.'

Final Thoughts:

This VN is a direct sequel to Sweetest MonsterIt is mostly linear, but contains one choice and two different endingsIt’s around 60k in length. It contains fanservice, sexual content/nudity, and some psychological horror elements readers might find disturbing. Features entirely custom art and OST. Written by the author of Lynne, Sweetest Monster, and, Lily of the ValleyContains a cute (and creepy) catgirll!
