I have a question: just got the game on steam and I love it, but for some reason in the logs (like the book icon next to the date and number of countries) it doesn't show when countries unite or when they support each other, maybe you could add separate buttons for those or just include them? Hi joku! It would be nice if you added a core territory update! (The occupied territory that gets recaptured turns back into the actual color of the nation) EX: Germany vs Poland. Germany pushes into Poland, showing german occupied territory, but poland kicks them out, showing poland's core territory. Poland now starts invading Germany, and their pixels in the main territory of germany are occupied pixels. (sry if this was confusing).

JokuPelle, i like demo and i have full version of game on phone. But there are a few things from full version i would bring to demo. 1. "Die" button, there is no way its not there.What if i need to kill some country? 2. God mode, but ok the full god mode is too much so, i would bring "Spawn Nations while in game" like when game starts and you can still spawn nations! This is needed! 3. Gold, you know why - Gold leaderboard is cool, and other this with gold too! And finaly... Multiple countryes in one ally! Like, i don`t like that i can ally with one person. Oh, and yea. Ally leaderboard, with strongest teams, and big country texts.. JokuPelle pls do this, its no biggie( (Please).

Possible Update for Map Maker.I was thinking maybe you could use a feature called overlay to overlay an image and then trace over that image to make your map.I Think this would be really helpful for those who like references and those who suck at drawing but are really creative.

Economy

Gold is now gained from three resources (instead of just land): Land, Cities and Trade

Land is quite straightforward, the more land you have the more you get, though the bigger you get, the more diminishing returns you get. Terrain also affects this.

Cities give gold based on the terrain they are located in.

Trade is dependant on how many neighbours the nation has.

During wars, gold is lost based on the nations Combat Efficiency

There is now also a maximum amount of gold a nation can have. This was added to try to fix the problem where nations would end up with hundreds of thousands in gold, basically making gold useless. Currently the gold cap is Land Income * 100. If you dislike the gold cap, you can disable it from World AI Settings.

Achievements

There are finally some achievements in the game. I know this game doesn't really have any major goals or levels, so most of these are pretty simple to get. A few of these are linked to random events, and I added the restriction that you can't cause these with most manual actions. I'm not sure if this is the best approach, since many people don't just want to watch simulations without manipulating them. Let me know what you think.

Also yes unfortunately for the 24 hour achievement I couldn't access the steam data for your playtime and didn't previously store it anywhere else so you're gonna have to start from scratch, sorry!

Pre-set Wars

You can now create wars in the scenario editor! These will initially be between two nations, but you can add existing or new allies into them.

NOTE! : Since nations by default start with 50 gold, I suggest you give them some extra gold so they don't immediately go bankrupt. I'll try to come up with a better solution in the future.
