The game’s story is about Ryoka Enomoto, the ace of the girls’ basketball team and my childhood friend. We grew up together in a rural village, and I secretly had feelings for her—what kind of acts did she end up accepting? How did those filthy men connect with her body? He needs a place to stay for the summer and his friend (and also his crush) Ryoka is going to let him stay with her for the summer. He has plans to finally build up the courage to tell her how he feels about her by the end of the summer and hopefully, she will feel the same way and they can be together.

The Town Bike…. Everyone Get's A Ride!

Ok, sorry for that crude and juvenile statement there, but Scars of Summer does have a real obstacle for Keita to overcome and that is Ryoka seems to get banged by every dude in the village but him! The story can go different ways, most of which involve us trying to keep her away from the rival men who also want her in this village. I am sure there is a nice path that you can go down and that is the path I think I am going to try and get on my next playthrough as I 100 percent did not get the good ending…. Well, it was good, but not for our boy Keita!

Making The Most Of Our Time

One of the main complaints I have seen in regard to Scars of Summer is the gameplay and I have to admit, the gameplay is easily the weakest part of this RPG. It is made with RPG Maker, but I have played some great lewd RPGs made with RPG Maker over the years. You control Keita and he goes around town, he works, he spies on girls, reads their diaries, and so on. There is a money and stat mechanic, but they are not used a great deal and the whole gameplay look feels rather uninteresting if I am being 100 percent honest. Had I not been so interested in him trying to get with Ryoka, I probably would have quit before I finished my first playthrough.

I'm Here For Two Big Reasons!

As well as the story of Scars of Summer being something that I was into, the visuals were also a real highlight for me! The game does have that typical RPG Maker look to it as far as the gameplay goes. However, we do get some fantastic and very well done large portraits on the screen that are awesome. The lewd content here is great, there are actually a lot of sex scenes, one of the complaints I regularly read was about the number of sex scenes and the rate that they happened, but this was not an issue for me at all. I do wish that there was some proper animation here as what is here cannot really be called animation in my opinion.
