It is long winded, makes very little sense, and did not grab me at all, I found myself skipping through the dialogue and then just asking myself, “why am I even playing this?”.

Visually, Happy Summer is a game that kind of does a bait and switch. Most of the art is of the super hot looking daughter, but she ends up not being the main love interest. The characters and the animation are decent enough, but the whole game, especially the plastic looking characters. It is hard to explain, but they have this strange plastic look to them that feels very unnatural. Also, the lewd content here is very, very lacking the tease scenes are actually pretty good and have some good and cinematic camera angles, but the whole time I played the game, I did actually see a sex scene.
