An AI Helping Hand

I will admit that I am a little worried about the way that AI is taking over, have people learned nothing from Terminator? However, NPC Tales: The Shopkeeper is a game that is made with a helping hand from an AI program. As far as I am aware, it is mostly for the art, but to be fair, this is one of the better AI assisted lewd games that I have come across. Some lewd games made with the help of AI are so freaking weird, but had I not known for sure that this was made with the help of AI, I do not think that I would have actually had any idea that AI was anything to do with this.

Working 9 to 5 and Banging 9 to 5!

As the developer has said that NPC Tales: The Shopkeeper is more of a tech demo, you are probably not going to be surprised to learn that there is not much in the way of a story in this current build of the game. From what I could gather, the idea is that we work in a shop in a fantasy land and we basically are tasked with helping the NPCs that call this place home as well as feeling up the shopkeeper. There is a bit of stuff the developer has written about how they want the story to be about NPCs and their lives, but as of me writing this, there is none of that or any real story in the game.

The Legend of Lewd

What actually drew me to NPC Tales: The Shopkeeper and made me want to give it a try was the titular shopkeeper babe. She has a bit of Zelda from The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild about her that I thought was cute. Actually, she is one of those characters that walks the fine line between being cute and straight up hot. The AI assisted art looks great for the most part and even in this early stage, this is a very good looking game. There is a bit of animation here in the groping and banging that you can do and the combat has a tiny bit of animation too. In all, I liked the bright and colorful style of the game and I am excited to see what other characters are added to the game.

Combat And Stealing Clothes

I am still not entirely sure what the goal of NPC Tales: The Shopkeeper is as far as the gameplay goes. You have this shop that sells gear and you have a shopkeeper that gets fondles and then there is a combat scene where you can fight. The best thing about the gameplay is the stealing clothes thing which I thought was a pretty neat idea. At the moment as far as the gameplay of the game goes, I would have to say that it is a series of cool ideas that could be great with the right amount of attention paid to them.
