First off I really wish there was a "Maybe" option on here cause I don't want to say that I outright don't recommend this game. For me it's a very mixed bag. (Also for context I played with the uncensored patch from Kagura Games).Starting with the good, the art is great, girls are sexy, the game has new game+ (two variants to boot: one that starts from the beginning and one that starts right before you choose a route to go down) and a way to unlock all sex scenes after beating one route (a lifesaver since some of the mini-events aren't super obvious if you don't have a guide open).

While a little underutilized, the actual detective work portion of the game is actually pretty fun and upgrading your skills to improve your performance in both that and combat is pretty satisfying, if somewhat time consuming.Now for the bad. Honestly I think the most painful thing about the game is that most of the good in it has some sort of negative attached. Great art? For the females, yes, but the males involved are just faceless goons that don't look like actual people which really breaks the immersion in the parts of the game that I kinda want to focus on most. Sexy girls? Yeah, but the number of times they appear in the same scene together can be counted on one hand and there are absolutely no non-het scenes despite multiple places there would've been potential for. Unlocking all scenes? There's no way to reverse it if you decide you want to unlock them manually later.Then there's the parts that are just outright unpleasant on their own. The actual combat part is extremely bare bones and equipment is so limited it makes me wonder why they even bothered. The game has two routes, however the gang route feels much more satisfying than the police route for a number of reasons (ironically it's also the most combat heavy), not the least of which is its mechanics actually being consistent with the post route-lock content (in comparison, the police route drops all the detective work in favor of two obnoxious mini-games that never appeared prior, one of which only lets you save once before it and punishes you for screwing up even once during its three segments).

Yes I know the game is more a vehicle for porn than an actual game, but even as far as porn games go, this was pretty lackluster. The game gets very repetitive with how it wants you to handle tasks since it pretty much always is just "Go here and talk to someone". You rarely do any detective work outside of maybe one of the final quests in the game where you have to figure out who the real person is between them and a lookalike. Even in the opening case, I was hoping I'd at least get to choose who the killer was, but no the game does that for you.Then you have the side-story that involves fighting enemies and bosses in turn based RPG battles to free up the slums from a rival gang's rule. The combat is very simplistic and doesn't have much of anything in terms of variety. I didn't even finish that side-story (I got close, but gave up by the time it was doing 3v1 fights). You don't learn any skills from leveling up, but instead invest points you get from completing quests and using materials gathered from chests and defeated enemies to get stronger or gain new skills. Sounds fine, but you also have to dig all over town to find people to teach you these skills. I'll tell you right now, don't bother investing any skill points into the one that allows for an RNG chance to instantly take out an enemy from behind. Most of the enemy placements are done in a way to make sure you can't sneak up on them and the RNG rarely goes in your favor, so it's just a waste of points. As far as skills you can use in battle, all I found was the lady that teaches you how to cast healing spells that are worse than using a potion since potions heal a percentage amount whereas the spell heals a fixed number. There's also not much in terms of gear to make your stats go up. You can basically buy the best gear in the game very early on for pretty cheap and then the only use for money is buying potions.

A steampunk detective RPGmaker filled with exciting story coupled with astounding H scenes.You play as Sophie, a Detective Girl aiming to garner fame to become British's renowned detective. It has your typical detective-trope, such as gangster, police and phantom thief. The game itself is straightforward and despite the "detective" written in the title, it does not require too much brain power to deduce a solution (good for players like me... I am pretty dumb when it comes to problem solving). There are a bit of grinding required at the beginning but once you acquired sufficient amount of gold and skills; lil' Sophie can make troubles into zero at ease.The H scene is your standard RPGmaker but what got me invested is Sophie herself. Her design and portrayal of a demure yet brave girl draws a lot of positiveness in me. Well, to be fair, I am into pe**anko but the moment Sophie broke her reasoning, that's where you see how she shines in H scenes. There is no seiyuu, only SFX, but trust me, you will BLOW when you see lil' Sophie engaging in H scenes.
