Gold Whiplash hits the airborne enemy as a aerial attack, which gives back 1 AP, before then downing the enemy to setup the next move (-1 AP + 1 AP = 0 total AP lost).

Umbral Crosscut hits the downed enemy as a down attack, which gives back 1 AP. (-1 AP + 1 AP = 0 total AP lost)

Now that Yan has 3 Astrom (1 from turn start, 1 from DS, 1 from UC), she can now do Lv3 QTE as a 0 AP lift + down. And it just so happens that if you slide your finger from Lv3 QTE to Gold Pounce quickly, it will hit the enemy both in the air and the ground, giving you AP for both the air hit and the down hit. (-1 AP + 1 AP + 1 AP = 1 extra AP)

Cold Vortex hits the downed enemy as a down attack, which gives back 1 AP, before then lifting the enemy for the combo ender. (-1 AP + 1 AP = 0 total AP lost).

Finally, Swooping Falchion hits the airborne enemy with empowered slashes for a bit of extra damage. (drains all your remaining AP)

I love the atmosphere of this game and the unique sci-fi setting. The story, characters, graphics and design, the combat, everything. Really feels like discovering a new world. To me this is a cozy experience, kind of like sitting down with a book you enjoy, far away from the noise of daily grind games and such, definitely a must play for any mobile gamer, rpg fan, or sci-fi fan.

Reminds me a bit of Golden Sun cause puzzles and turn based battles. The combat is more engaging with real-time parrying and balance breaking chances to deal more combos. Appreciate the diverse playables, enemies, and NPCs. Side remarks when you pick treasures from every nook and cranny are cherry on top. Be warned that you can miss some stories (side quests), so be sure to save on separate slot every time you finish a part of main quest. Worth buying for the experience.

A unique turn based game of Arknight's developer. You can combo together with your party members in combat during your turn and you can also parry your opponent's attacks during their turn, saving yourself from damage. The story is kinda confusing at first, but still doesn't really bother me. The world is actuallt big, you can get lost in it as you play. The UI is also fascinating, refreshing to be exact. And what's better? It's not a gacha game, it's a premium game that you pay upfront!

The story may be a little confusing, but there is plenty of lore. The battle system works as a combo building in real-time turn based, which is pretty unique. It's a Single-Player campaign so there are no in-game purchases or any DLC available (yet). Pretty good game worth its price. Although, there can be some hiccups to optimization because the effects are really too well done.
