Crab War

Crab War is a casual strategy game where players lead their army of crabs to exact revenge on reptiles that once invaded their territory. The game boasts a high degree of strategy, with over 50 kinds of dangerous wild animals scattered throughout the map. Players must choose from dozens of talents and skills to give their crabs more advantages and complete challenges. The game also offers players a wealth of customization options; you can modify genes to selectively create specific types of crabs, allowing for more flexible responses to different opponents.

Additional Queens: More than 30 unique Queens can lead your swarm into battle! Powerful buffs and motivating strength help to push your swarm to victory!

Tall Scales: Use skill and timing to fight more than 50 massive opponents and other reptilian foes who invade your territory.

Ecdysis: During tough battles, you can delay rebirth by mutating and sacrificing your current progress. Choose a Rebirth for powerful permanent changes to your highest power levels.

Golden Ray: Defeat Legendary Allies and use their battle-turning power for those who summon during tough encounters.

Elaborate Talent Systems: Multiple Talent Trees help you to configure your desired custom playstyle. Damage output can be modified with more than 18 different talents and 6 augmentable big spells.

Perfect swarm: Players need to select and develop queens with the right abilities and skills to lead the swarm. Improving and transforming queens as they level up will increase the strength and fighting ability of each crab, thereby improving the combat effectiveness of the entire colony.

Useful Tips of Crab War:

Ecdysis after your first- Once you can pass 1,000m every 150m you get bonus DNA during ecdysis. The equation goes like this ((current distance)-1000)/150=x if x is a whole number you are good to go, if its not keep going. Note, that doing deep runs is not always time beneficial, so play at your leisure. I would ecdysis when it started going slow after doing a leech, this saved me time. Spending another hour going 100m further was time I could have spent climbing back up.

If you have a habit of tapping and not looking, you may want to open the shop window and scroll to the bottom to avoid mistakenly purchasing something when you didn't want too.

Does the appxplore crab give a significant boost to damage? - Yes (need to verify)

Wildebeast- If you don't kill him one day, he reverts back to day 1. It's best to ecdysis and kill him than to try and kill him at the end of a run.

Pearls. Never use pearls for anything besides re-rolling mutations (you can reset mutations by pressing the mutation portrait, then selecting extract). There is one exception, however it is totally up to the player and should not be used on a regular basis: To use the golden ray skill to break barriers such at K or Vk, etc. This is not recommended since the time it takes to go past these barriers and the DNA gained won't be worth the pearls.

Crab Evolutions: Some will ask, which path on crab evolutions should I take? Please note, there is no value in taking your crabs past the level of the last crab evolution, in other words - don't waste gold on crabs once you get them to level 2730 unless you have the appxplore crab, in which case you need to continue to level crabs until level 4000. There is no 'right' answer, however some will say go for the highest % dmg increase, or boss damage, or gold, sometimes speed. Honestly its up to you, I have found great value in going for gold % increases and % damage increases. Bottom line, the increases are small and will not make much of a difference.

You will meet a few walls in the game. Walls are when the next Queen suddenly requires a much larger amount of gold to purchase than previously seen, such as the Vk gold wall. I would recommend to go as far as you can in a timely manner (up to you), then ecydsis and repeat until you can beat it.

Queen 1200 Evolution. There are two tips for queen evolutions.

Do not evolve them unless you have reached a wall and decided to Ecdysis, level up your queens as much as possible before doing so in order to get bonus DNA during Ecdysis (every 1k queens levels gives bonus DNA).

You see that queen Wing Blade can be evolved. If you are trying to progress through walls, never evolve any queen before Wing Blade (cheaper queens) because they will not provide you any damage increase. If it is your first time evolving Wing Blade, you will need to evolve every queen after Wing Blade to keep progressing. As you get stronger, you may or may not evolve certian queens after Wing Blade, or you might even skip Wing Blade and start evolving Tusk first. For example, the first queen I evolve is Death Sickle.

This game is very addicting and all but I’m not sure about other people but I’m on meter 640 and I can’t beat the boss but the thing is I can’t really progress either because it keeps you on the same meter which is fine so that your not going against a really powerful boss when you aren’t even that powerful but when it keeps you on the same boss it is very hard to earn pearls and money because you can’t really progress and it takes so long for almost all cooldowns for special power ups so I can’t ever really use them...But a good thing is that I play on the iPad mini 4 which is really old and it performs wonderfully. 

A very fun active clicker game, and the only clicker I have ever spent real money on. Very good replay ability, the upgrades are interesting and colorful, and the game itself is actually fun to play and watch unlike many games of the genre. Progress is only made when you are actively playing, which may be an issue to some (and you can’t really just leave the game on overnight because of the boss system) but there are plenty of free upgrades to make in-game play accessible to new players. I made it to Ecdysis 20 and had plenty of success prior to buying any IAP’s, which I did solely to support the creators. In all, definitely a clicker game that is worth your time. 

It is very fun. Although it does require a LOT of work to progress, it's pretty fun. I can understand it easily, even though some people have a hard time understanding it. My only problem is that it keeps crashing when I try to watch a second ad. I am so close to ecdysis, but when it gave me a butterfly for golden reptile chance and it crashed, which is why I'm writing this review. Although it isn't much of a setback, it does get annoying and also frustratingly makes me hope and pray for another chance, even thought it doesn't make me mad, and I hope they fix it. Either way, I love this game. I give it a 10/10.
