Hello Neighbor Nicky’s Diaries is an engaging action-adventure game in which players delve into the secrets of a mysterious neighbor. Using various tools, you must sneak into the neighbor's house while he is away, evading cameras and detectors, disarming traps, and solving puzzles. Gameplay of Hello Neighbor Nicky's Diaries:

The game consists of 20 missions (4 seasons with 5 missions). Almost every mission has a specific goal for the player - to take a photo with a camera of an object that is associated with Nicky Roth's memories. Each first level of the season will start with Peterson's three-story house. With each level, Peterson's house will grow. In each final level of the season, the player will have to walk through the basement to find the last item. The game also contains traps in the form of CCTV cameras , pressure plates, and doorways in which a laser moves. Most of these traps activate an alarm, which then closes the doors and windows with an iron curtain and in the room where the alarm was activated, elevator doors appear, through which Theodore Peterson appears.

In the basement there are openings leading to the otherworldly dimension. In this dimension there are also items needed for the passage, which can interact with items from the main dimension. Also there is another version of Theodore Peterson, who is similar to the Thing , and will also interfere with the passage of the game.

The game also has a stress scale, which increases with each capture/death and decreases over time. When the stress scale is completely filled (up to 10 units), the player will be able to continue only when the stress scale drops by at least one unit. It can also be lowered by buying cocoa with marshmallows (this will also temporarily stop the scale from rising) or by watching an ad.

In addition to the main goal, each level contains gears that can be collected (there are 24 of them in each act). For them, you can buy special disposable gadgets: boots on springs and X-ray glasses.

The game also features side goals (there is one in each season) that can only be completed by completing the final level.

Complete your Missions: Your motive is to uncover the mysteries of your sinister neighbor. You have also been assigned some other missions that contribute to your ultimate goal. Finishing these missions will take you ahead in the story. It will also give you insights into the shady activities your neighbor might be carrying out. Thus, make sure to complete those tasks to gain resources and put them to use in other important activities. 

Take Pictures whenever possible: Whenever you are on the scene and you notice any items that might come in handy, you just take pictures. You can take pictures of objects with the help of the camera icon to store them. The pictures you capture can help you further in connecting the pieces of evidence.

Do not get Caught at all cost: When you are carrying out a secret mission, the villain mustn’t interpret you. So, do not get caught by him more than five times. If he does sense some imposter in his house, you must use stones or other resources to distract him. This way, you wouldn’t end up in danger.

Do not Wake your Neighbour up: While you are searching in his house for clues during his sleeping time, do not wake him up. It is advisable to not bother or wake him up more than five times. This increases your chances of getting caught and ending up in the same situation as other children. So, be careful and silently carry out your investigations. 

Equip Useful Items: Equip useful items during your missions. You can buy these items from the shop. Use the Jump Boots to reach higher locations and X-ray glasses and detect the neighbor sneaking past him. You can also use EMP devices to disable traps for a limited time. These items will help you to be incognito and save you from the supposed dangers.

Great game, I am a huge fan of the HN franchise however if you play the game you only get access to a few levels then you have to pay for the rest of the levels for 7$. But, the gameplay is pretty interesting how we can inspector gadget ourself and make things easier. Would love a PC, and console release for this one in the future, but on one note don't make us pay for the levels if you do port it to other platforms.

Really nice free trail. Not able to get the full version on my phone currently, but really love the concept. I'll try to purchase the full game later, it's not allowing me access the payment for the continuation.

For a mobile game & one that is free I can't complain. Music & style is one thing I always admired & was fond of in Hello Neighbor Universe. So far it's it's really quick,self-explanatory & overall simply fun to get into. Unique gameplay with gadgets & helpful indicators to use & decent amount of selection on items you can use. Safe to say this is a Hello Neighbor game that's genuinely great. 10/10.

It brings me back old memories of the old game Hillary neighbor but I do have a little issue with the digital lot of buttons. Also, when you select something, they get a little bit less agree. Nesh cause it's like kind of annoying when it looks green when you select something. But overall very good game.

The whole storytelling and quality of the game is really good, the puzzles are fair, not too hard and not too easy either, but one thing I hate is having a trial version, I'm not allowed to buy stuff on a phone so I can't do the full version. I really wanna finish the storyline, however the game is really good and I loved the full trial version and appreciate your effort into this game and understand you need money to continue making games.
