Sonic Cat is a casual music game where players control a large purple cat, the slowest of all the characters. Gameplay

Big is very different from the rest of the cast. He's a really BIG (shocker) purple cat with a very small brain.

He is the slowest character out of them all, but he is somehow the fastest ladder climber. He also is the strongest, and can pick up heavy objects with a press of the action button, and can also push them aside.

In the way of attacks, he doesn't have many. He can swing his fishing rod by pushing the action button, which is really hard to aim, but it will kill any of Dr. Eggman's robots that it hits. He can't jump attack, as he will just get hit if you land on an enemy.

Tips

There’s always more to see and collect

Simply blundering through the game will net you a whole ton of rings, but Sonic Forces’ levels – particularly its 2D-focused levels – always have additional routes and hidden caches of treasure you can grab just by dropping down or jumping up to a lower platform or by using the right ability at the right time. 

Homing is the secret

Both Modern Sonic and your Avatar have a homing spin ability. Jump in the air, watch for a green crosshair on an enemy, then press Jump again to speed towards and smack the baddie. This isn’t just good for bashing your foes, however, but also for making it through obstacles or across gaps. If you’re stuck or keep on falling, look for an enemy to home in on.

The two Sonics aren’t the same

The two Sonics you’ll play during the game have different capabilities. Where Modern Sonic has the homing move and double jump to rely on, Classic Sonic only gets the single jump and has to bounce on enemies like he did in his nineties heyday. This can be a bad thing to forget when you’re trying to jump across a large gap or leap towards patrolling nasties.

Watch for the power prompts

Smashing through certain objects will give you a power to activate for a limited time, like the ability to chain jumps vertically or blast through enemies and speed upwards at a faster pace. These are put there to use, either to reach hidden areas or – in a few tough sequences – as a means to escape impending doom. If you hear, say, ‘Lightning’ don’t ignore it.

Generally the game is great the music is pleasing and everythiny's on the beat. But I have this problem where I can't remove the hitting sound no matter what I change in the settings. There is a tab "hitting sound" in the settings and I turned it off, there still didn't seem to make a difference. Otherwise, I really love the game. Recommended 

Ahh! This is the game I was looking for! The animation, songs, game mechanics and everything was just wonderful and satisfying at the same time, nothing wrong encountered yet though except for the ads and it's a minute long but it's not a big deal for me, also can you add more Japanese songs? I appreciate for adding Lemon by kenshi in the game, it's awesome! Looking forward to the next update! Badsnowball, you rock!

This game is amazing and really fun to play. It has all my favorite songs including megolovana from undertale. The fact that it's tricky is what makes it fun and this is so much better than all the other beat saber games. In the other ones, it was hard to controll, and it had the sound of the beats in the song. The beat sound didn't even match the beat of the song. But in this game it is way better and I love the fact that some of the swords were things like mincraft items.
