How to add waifu reactions:

There are ways to make your waifu totally reactive with voice lines and movement, but i will only explain reactive movement. this will allow you to touch (click) your waifus and have them react to where you touch (click) them.

Launch EX Studio through the Control Panel (About -> EX Studio)

In EX Studio, select Live2D Editor

click "Select Model Folder" then navigate to your extracted folder and select it.

you will see all the files listed on the right. the MOC.*.json file is the base file. *.mtn files are the animations. click the files to preview everything.

to find a clickable are, go to "Artmesh" tab. this will show you every area with a green box. just scroll down and find the area you want to have reactions. just take note, some layers overlap and take priority over others. so just test the areas as you go 5a. you can also tick free select at the bottom. click the area in the preview that you want to react. it will list all the areas in that section.

after you found a desired area, remember the name and go to "Config File" tab and click "Edit" 6a. you can also click the paper and pencil icon in the preview area

Select "Hit Areas" and click + to add a trigger

Under ID, click the pencil and select the name of the area you wanted

Under "Motion When Clicked", click the pencil and choose the desired reaction. some childs have many motions, but most only have the basic "attack" and "hit"

click Save

you can now test, by touching (clicking) the area you chose

repeat for other parts/childs

Useful Tips of Live2DViewerEX:

How to launch the application on system startup: Control Panel → Settings → Enable "Launch at system startup."

How to pause the wallpaper when other applications are fullscreen/maximized: Right-click the tray icon → Settings → Find the corresponding option and adjust as needed.

Displaying models on top in desktop mode / Displaying models in fullscreen games: In the Control Panel settings → Desktop, enable Always Display on Top.For fullscreen games, set the mode to Borderless Window.

Taskbar not appearing when models are displayed on top in desktop mode: In the Control Panel settings, change the Desktop Display Type to Window, and adjust the window size to match the screen resolution while leaving some space for the taskbar.

Face capture application won't open or crashes upon opening: Ensure the installation path does not contain non-English characters or special characters.

Cannot load video backgrounds: Install a third-party codec, such as LAV Filters.

Application crashes when setting a video background: In the Steam client → Library → Right-click the application → Properties → Betas, and switch to legacy_version.

it's overall a great app but I reinstalled it and I can't download any characters or backgrounds, "download failed try again later" pops up everytime. I js hope you can fix this so I can actually use the app.

I'm unable to tap on the model to speak or my model won't follow my finger on the screen. Can you tell me how to fix this? it works in the app though but once I set to wallpaper, it doesn't work anymore.
