Pros
High-quality features
Intuitive design
Convenient access to options menu
Additional features in premium version
Unique features like slow-motion and burst mode
Extensive customizable settings
Cons
Some features limited to premium version
Manual focus and defocus not compatible with all cameras

How do I turn off the shutter sound?
The shutter sound is on by default. You can find an option to turn off all shutter sounds in the "General" section of the app's "Settings". Note that this option may not be available on some devices because the camera API for some devices has not yet implemented this feature.
What are the white and orange circles on the preview screen?
The white circle indicates the camera's focus position. Footej uses autofocus by default. If your camera supports it, you can touch the screen to manually focus to a specific position. The orange circle indicates the area on the screen used for exposure measurement. By default, the entire preview area is used for exposure measurement. When using selective focus (moving the white circle), the exposure of a specific area within the orange circle is measured. Dragging the orange circle allows you to select different areas for focus and exposure measurement.
How to manually control the camera (ISO, shutter speed)?
Footej supports manual control of ISO and shutter speed if your device's camera is compatible with the new Android Camera API (version 2). The app automatically detects compatible hardware and enables the corresponding control options. Two yellow indicators will also appear in the preview screen, showing the current ISO and shutter speed values respectively. By default, the app uses the "Auto" values for ISO and shutter speed. The manual control option is integrated into the "Exposure" settings; tapping it opens a three-dot menu. There is an Auto/Manual toggle button at the top of the exposure adjustment bar. Switching to manual mode displays two additional adjustment bars for adjusting ISO and shutter speed respectively.
My device's built-in camera app supports manual control, but it cannot be enabled in Footej. Why is this?
Sometimes, manufacturers have not yet implemented the corresponding libraries for the Android 2.0 Camera API. Therefore, even with hardware compatibility, the application cannot use the corresponding Android APIs.
Overall, Footej Camera is an excellent camera and photo app that can serve as an alternative to the default camera app on Android devices. Even without unlocking the premium version, this app boasts an impressive wealth of features.
